This close to the playoffs, the prince may be out for good. Cam we sign a defensive-minded small forward or is it too late?
Anyone thinking we should've been "resting" our bench is nuts, this sucks but it's not because Luc plays too many minutes or something. That could've happened in Game 1 of the playoffs as well.
I don't think our championship hopes rest on Luc. He is a obviously a huge part of our defense being so good, but we can still beat everybody, even the Warriors, without Luc. The key is going to lie in Harden in not losing his focus when the game is not being called like he likes. We all know that Harden is an incredible player that can lead us against wins over anybody, but if he is going to pout and stop giving his full effort after not getting calls from the refs, then only then will I consider us not being able to make a championship run. Let's not be overly dramatic. This really does suck, I'm with you all. But having Harden and Paul at their absolute best is what is going to allow us to make a championship run.
he dislocated it so easily...I can’t blame Mike for this one it would’ve happened eventually IMO if that dunk was all it took
Hopefully he only misses first round and comes back during second round. Which would be like maybe 2 weeks from now
better check his health asap..if needed to waive someone and add his replacement before playoff roster deadline, so be it...
Was it that easily? It seems he lost control during the slam... it looks like both more force was used than normal and the "hang" onto the rim was awkward. I think it takes just a weird position and use of force to get injured like this. But injury is always a risk at anytime and I don't blame MDA for playing him. I blame Prince more for being so unusually aggressive.
could be...I should go look at it again 2 dislocations in 1 season tells me that it was only a matter of time for him...his dunk attempts were all gonna be heavily contested in the playoffs
If he is out through the playoffs I think that will kill our chances against golden state if they are healthy
... look at video below (the replay toward the end). I was wrong. He didn't lose control. He was hit on the shoulder by the defender. Looks like that was what caused the dislocation http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...rockets-dislocates-shoulder-tuesday-vs-lakers
yeah, that was my initial impression...it sucks that this happened, but I really do believe it was only a matter of time
True and this is why I don't think its as serious as the first time. Dude was tweeting after the game so he couldn't have been in that much pain. Its obvious he's going to need surgery to lock that joint down but I think he'll play in the first round he's gonna have to wear a compression shirt like Anthony Davis or Draymond
You beat me to it. There is no way in hell this is on the coach. We will be fine. It will hurt our defense but with Green playing more minutes it will help our offense. We are the deepest team in the league and its not even close. From what I saw last night Johnson is starting to get his legs. If he can just reach down and be 75% of what he used to be the Warriors are in trouble.
