my internet went out so i wasn't watching. Saw this thread and assumed it was 8-1 or so. Silly level of anxiety
I know it's frustrating to watch an Astros starter have less than an ideal game, but honestly, I wouldn't be inclined to jump to big conclusions about Keuchel based on his performance in a single game played in unusual weather conditions... and with an ump who happens to have a relatively small strike zone.
This game isn't really that bad but Keuchel left people with a bad taste in their mouth with his signing of Boras. Some people waiting for him to fail.
Why do people assume criticism of DK is based on only this game or even the last few games? Lol keep deluding yourselves.
Springer in a funk swinging at terrible pitches. We’ve all seen what’s on the other side of his funks....pure greatness.
Really? I didn't get that impression from most fans. I'm certainly not in that boat. Happy he's going to get paid.
That's fine if he gets paid but Boras = not signing back with the Astros next season. Many fans saw the writing on the wall with that.
Altuve signed Boras. People waiting for one of only two pitchers in franchise history to win a Cy Young award to fail because he signed with an agent? That's stupid.
IDK, I think he's earned the right to figure it out. He was hurt in 16 and wasn't healthy all of last year either. 14, 15, and a Cy should be worth something. Funny thing is...he's been good this year. But since he's not dominant, people want to crucify him.
When your pitch count in the 4th is higher than your velocity... you know you are not having a good game. Nice battle for the last 2 though. Kept us in it
