    He is a loser.

There isn’t much else to it. Some guys have it and some don’t and Giles doesn’t have it.

While it is sad, we don’t have time to coddle him. Admit your mistake and move on.

Pretty lucky win if you ask me. I guess luck joins you after you win it all.

HR scare aside, it nice how this pitching staff has picked up the offense during their struggles.

Hopefully we can find a reliable closer either on current roster or in minors. Giles is clearly rattled and will cost us 3-5 games at minimum if left in closers role.

If he can't throw the good slider effectively/consistently, he's pretty much worthless.

Nice win. We got kind of lucky in this one. Not quite as lucky as the 0 percent chance Bregman walkoff pop up single but it is still a win.

Verlander should be in Hinch's office cashing in on his free face punch for putting Giles in the game, and he should demand never coming out of the game if GIles is available.

Great knowing Giles shut it down.

    Bats did enough.

This is weird, and I don't like saying it, but he reminds me of those BADASS jocks I played with in HS and college frat leagues. You can just look at them and think "this guy's elevator....", Giles has that straight up vacant dumb jock look. Constantly.

It's about time to see what Devo can do as closer.

Need to move Giles to lower leverage and see if he can regain form.

Extremely cheap move by Hinch by Giles getting a 1 out save, Devenski deserves that save. I really hope Giles gets traded for prospects. These types of Saves has to mean he is getting traded. Ken Giles is worse than Lidge. His slider goes sideways instead Lidges up and down slider that really snaps. The players that are fielding have to always get nervous, angry when Giles pitches. When Devenski pitches there is more comfort.

Yup... and those guys feed almost entirely on emotion.

Reminds me of Brad Pitt’s character in the movie Seven.

    The 81mph changeup of death.

What killed me was, "what are you changing up from?" His fb was 86 tops.
