Part of me wants the toughest team possible, just to see us take them out one by one, and crush their hopes to move on!
I want the nuggets... and I don’t want anything about the current bracket to change except nuggets and wolves switching. Spurs, Blazers, and OKC in the warriors bracket is nice
I kinda want the Jazz so I can get some dope ass rhymes from the hottest in the game ... ZDog .. coming at ya. It would be like the Mormon Tupacs 7 Day Theory .. I neeeed it!
Am I correct in saying that, assuming an NO win tonight against LAC and an OKC win against Memphis Wednesday night, there is no way for OKC to play against GSW as the 7th seed, given that NO plays San Antonio on Wednesday (2 teams tied with OKC)?
it is not looking good for rockets as far as 2nd rd. it looks to be more favorable for warriors now. spurs in rockets bracket. honestly, if i were the spurs, blazers, or OKC i would want to play the warriors 1st rd. curry is out and this is a chance to take them out,.
don;t know the tie breakers , but okc should try and lose against grizz to get 7th seed. this is their chance to knock off GSW w/o curry.
Rockets are very close to getting their dream bracket (assuming you want to have maximum odds of reaching West finals). Either Denver or Minnesota round one, Portland or NOLA round 2 and the winner of GS, Utah, SA and OKC in the WCF. I understand people who want the toughest possible bracket to prove something, but let's do that next year. This year lets get Harden and CP3 a ring so that the whole playoff choking narrative goes away for good.
If Denver wins they own Tie Breaker over spurs and pelicans and they would jump to 7. I think we will most likely get the Pelicans.
And that's not a positive thing, since they can adjust now with ton of film, both teams are healthy now & Rockets would have to do adjustments in 2-3 day span after every lost or close game. Timberwolves is the team that can knock Warriors out actually, you never wanna play a team full of talent. And Nuggets are hot right now, they are definitely miles better than Pelicans.
My mistake on Blazers @ Utah. Actually it’s @ Portland Spurs/Denver season series went 2-2; but Spurs have greater conference record even if Denver wins and Spurs lose. Would it be div records? It appears Denver owns the tie-breaker on Pels though.
