He didn't play well after he came back from injury. He looked tentative. There were signs that he might never regain the physical abilities and/or confidence to compete in the NBA. I guess that's why no NBA team wanted to take a chance on him. He looks a lot more fit in the footages of him playing in China. Who knows if that's because of inferior physicality there or if he is finally back to 100%.
I want to stress again that this was only for 1/3 of a season. During that stretch... he was quite good especially playing off of Harden. Just another story about how quickly things can end in the NBA. I can’t tell you how many DMo only fans I argued with that following Summer who just assumed prime DMo would show up on day 1 of training camp, and I had to throw a wet blanket and remind them that it was only about 3 months out of three years we’ve seen him contribute up to his potential. There was more evidence that he’d be who he was for 2 years and 2/3 of a season coming off of back surgery but nobody wanted to hear that. Such a shame. Having a 7 foot Scola for a couple of seasons would have been amazing, but can’t complain with the team we have now and Capela’s growth.
DMo did not leave on good terms .. this isn't a grocery store where you pick and choose what you want .. DMo would have to WANT to play here which I doubt. I wouldn't be surprised to see him join Golden State.
What do Parsons, DMo, Lin and Gerald Green have in common? Mount Rushmore of Clutchfans. (I like all four of them by the way)
Probably not, he is a borderline terrible NBA player.....Bball no border here. He is one of the best in Lithuania, a baskeball powerhouse, that makes him better than a large percentage of people.
Really, I thought he was behind Bobby Brown who is behind Dwight Howard who is behind Corey Brewer. How many heads are on our Mt Rushmore? LoL
Ok. I guess he’s better than someone who isnt 7’0 tall and doesn’t play basketball. It’s called hyperbole. Yes as an NBA player he was crap. He had brick hands, no finesse, crap jumper, below average rebounder, pretty uncoordinated especially around the basket, and slow. I will never understand why people are still talking about that stiff.
