And here I was thinking I would see an end to the Martes and Tucker for someone else trades once Tucker got to AA....
We do have an Austin Hedges sighting in today's game. Even though he's hitting all of .087 so far, I do believe his career avg is better than Mendoza's. Plus an RBI and only 1 PB today.
Yuli rehab update: Apparently, according to Twitter, the Astros hatched some nefarious plan in which he served his suspension and then got placed on the disabled list. People are acting like he and the team were just skirting around the punishment. Now here's the Yuli rehab update involving the things he's been doing on the field...
More like its almost impossible to prove one way or the other... along with the fact that suspended or disabled, doesn't really give the Astros an advantage/disadvantage one way or the other regarding the 40 man roster.
The League Office and Manafort have already said that everything is ok, so more like absolutely nobody properly gives a **** except Twitter? I was more interested in the actual day he could rejoin the team, but I'll figure that out. Cheers.
Reading too many news articles, that should tell me something. Unless I'm one of those deep trolls, trying to turn the Astros and their fans into Yankees or something. Nice catch, bro!
You are correct. He was placed on the 10 day DL after his 5 game suspension was over April 2. That means he has to be on April 3rd - 12, so he can rejoin the team on the 13th.

It's obviously too early to make any takeaways about hitter performance, but I'm encouraged by Jake Adams only striking out once in his 9 PAs. The power and the walks will likely be there, but if he can keep the Ks in the mid 20s rather than the 35% he was at last year, he could really have a good year.
Ruppenthal is listed on the DL for Quad Cities now, so he is apparently injured. Hope it's not serious.
Jack Mayfield hit his 3rd HR for Fresno today. Pretty amazing how far he’s gotten. A guy who can play a passable SS (along with 2B and 3B) and can hit 25+ HR in AAA will get a shot in the majors regardless of his age or pedigree.
