The first Astros minor leaguer to hit a home run this season is.... Anibal Sierra. His solo shot is currently Buies Creek's only run of the evening in Salem. Hector Perez has allowed a run on 2 hits and struck out 5 in 3 innings.
Perez is dealing. 7 k thru 4 ip now. Sierra hit a HR in ST as well. Maybe he was hurt last year, but he sure was awful.
Gonna be interesting watching these Latin players at the lower levels, we really need a few of these guys to make a jump because there is a pretty big fall off after our top 4, and 2 of those are likely to graduate this year.
