Exactly too many fans here are like "lol we didn't try".

No... They definitely tried this game.

 

As great as Harden is, these past few games has shown us he's not close to being THE greatest offensive player of all time. He's great at exploiting mismatches on the switch but if you put a dedicated defender on him, he struggles. I'd rather have CP3 take the helm. Paul is better than Harden at hitting contested shots by a country mile.

 

The Refs weren't gonna let the Rockets win anyway!!! How many times did Paul George flop? ugh!!!

 

if you're not going to play 100% then rest the ****ing players.

all this **** is doing is creating bad habits that will spill over into the playoffs,

 

Meh. Can’t we just start the playoffs already? This is like watching preseason basketball, when nothing is at stake.

 

Lose to a playoff team. Gets them more motivated. They know it’s no more rest time from here. They always go off on streaks when something goes wrong.

no doubt. no one wants to play them. they could play like dogs and embarrass themselves or george and westbrook could get hot and you have no way of guarding them. i don't want that team if i'm the favorite in a series. give me minny or denver.


that montage of plays of westbrook's D was hilarious. ariza drops a ball that hits him right in the hand for a breakaway. ariza throws ball straight to westbrook as harden doesn't even attempt to meet the ball while seeing westbrook is pressing up. then harden drops the last pass of the game. embarrassing themselves. i've thought all season i don't like playing okc and our record against them tells me why.

 

Well, I hope all the folks here praying for Thunder to be 7th seed and play the Warriors, are happy now.

 

plain and simple the nba made sure they get the thunder in the playoffs for ratings. i'm not a tinfoil hat kinda guy but tonight really made me think.

the refs were so biased even jvg and mark jackson mentioned it.

 

He can't. Some people just have slow feet and reaction time. Same applies to his defense. It's not that he's lazy, he just has slow feet.

 

Any Rocket fan that isn't worried about Harden is crazy.

There is a recipe to get him to shut himself down, and I hope and pray we find a counter, or he gets tougher. (Or we just don't run into a team that can do it)

 

Hate how Mike Breen keeps calling Harden "a potential MVP" not "the likely MVP"

Listen, I see what you're saying, however I didn't say "we are not winning lately", so your reply is a bit irrelevant to my point.

Sure, we won, however in the playoffs we are going to be tested in a physical grind, and we have been responding badly to that. We are consistently playing poorly down the stretch, and for long periods of time, and will be playing against stiffer competition. End of season W's do not right all of those wrongs.

 

In the Rockets last 5 games, they beat the worst team in the league at the buzzer, got destroyed by the Spurs, lost to the Thunder at home, blew a 17 point lead in the final 3 minutes (only to win at the buzzer)...and beat the Wizards by 16
