So, our 96 points wasn't enough to beat their 94? Man that is a tough loss.

 

If only we had another buzzer beater! The rule should be below 1 second the clock has to run out Harden still having trouble with turnovers and double teams, well that’s a team and a coach issue too. So happy to have CP3. People here arguing about a layup or not, really?

Hmmm I surprised so many are worried. We have seen this team persevere all year long.

as good as Harden is, his “disinterest and I don’t care attitude” at times will come to bite us. Ive seen some of the dumbest decisions I’ve ever seen a superstar make. The way he gets lazy with his handle, goes ISO and dribbles the air out the ball, and the head scratching passes will make you throw your remote! This won’t win you championships. I just don’t know why he does this. We won, I get it, and have been winning, great, but these habits are not championship basketball. I hope I’m wrong, maybe this team is just that good to overcome it. Maybe we get lucky and the stars align for us this year.

I just hope he snaps out of this nonsense; a piece of me believes if harden chokes again like last year, his legacy will be set and it will haunt his career forever.

C’mon Jimmy! Carry this damn team to the promise land!

We should have a pool on which dummy will post tomorrow's first undisputed take that'll center on this game and harden.

@Shaq2Yao is the odds on talking head volume poster, but @Mathrocker is the desperately ironic lulz poster/bumper.

By the way, that one TO by CP3 was pretty bad, but it was clearly, and I mean CLEARLY a back-court violation if you know the rules. This is so commonly not called though, that it makes sense they didn't, but it's one I really wished they enforced.

You only catch a pass when you're feet have both been firmly established in the front court first, so even if one foot was behind it and you jump to get it - or running like in this instance - thus having both feet in the front court when you land (run), it is still a back court violation. For the same reason a three point shot is still a 3 point shot even if you land inside the arc.

 

What a weird game. Without Dame, Ed, and Hark, I assumed you would blow us out. That sentiment was very true until our 3rd string guys came in. It looks like Houston just got comfortable with a big lead and let up. It was still pretty shocking. Some of the guys in during crunch time were playing in their first or second games of the entire season.

It's just one game, but I came away pretty damned impressed by Baldwin's defense. This was only his second game playing for us. I don't think anyone in Portland knew what was hiding on their deep bench. For reals.

Anyways, good game, but really strange. This game is a pretty good picture of why you signed Chris Paul. That's what he does.

Best of luck with the rest of the season. Hopefully my Blazers can get healthy. I want to see you guys in the playoffs.

Another highlight from this great season destroyed by Bill Worell's trash call. Ruined the 60 pt trip dub call now this. Chris Paul at the basket!........at the buzzer. Great job guy, retire please.

Yeah if harden was smarter we should have a won it all last year and we should be at 72 wins already this year.
