Enjoy that Houston weather and retractable roof. Here is the forecast for the Twin Cities Monday - Wednesday:

Minneapolis had every opportunity to build a retractable roof one... in fact, the first renderings of their proposed new stadiums included it, and frankly looked better than what target field ended up being.

I'm sure you'll acknowledge that there's enough nice days up there to keep it open for most of the summer (as they do in Toronto)... but its just cold and potentially rainy enough at the beginning and end of the seasons to make a roof ultimately worth it.

They're basically the anti- Houston (where it will only be open now and maybe at the end of the season... but not in between, and certainly not the playoffs or WS!).

I remember 2016 and starting play in NY with conditions similar to this. It seemed like it took a month or longer for our guys to thaw (start playing well) after that.

I sure as **** dont want that to happen again. Postpone the entire series if its going to be that cold.

The vast majority of the May - August games are great. The early April, late September games can be miserable. Last year they had an inordinate number of rainy games.

Our season tickets are in the Delta Sky360 lounge, so if we get there early enough we can sit in front of the plexiglass and watch the games in comfort. Tomorrow will probably break their coldest game record. Saturday may shatter it.

ugh... that sounds like its just not baseball weather.

Here is the rendering of the original Minneapolis stadium (which I'm sure you're familiar with).... definitely would have been a nice compromise (but likely very expensive):

Yeah...the estimated cost for the retractable roof was another $100,000,000. That rendering is not where it ended up.

Sipp spelled backwards is PPIS -- lol which is pretty accurate in describing his pitching

Why does Keuchel suck now? It’s very irritating.

Keuchel and Stassi do not seem to have any sort of simpatico-type chemistry at all. Lots of shakes and stares.

Move all your games to Tampa.

That's when, last year, we knew the poor b*stard was cursed.
