    Good try, Deshaun Watson.

So is Toronto the only team the Rockets didn't beat this season?

Yes. However, the media would like you to believe that the Rockets lost the season series to the Spurs, Thunder, Celtics, Cavs and Warriors as well on their way to a 15 loss season.

Great win, Mbah with 6 steals and 1 right out of the gate. Glad Green and Harden were on point from three and Capela inside! Some nice blocks. Ryno only 5 minutes and Joe not doing great either, I’m not liking that. Ryno deserves better than this.

Nice to have Harden play well against a middle of the road, 40-win Washington team. He does look like he's in great shape.

The one stat that jumps out to me is that Washington got only 3 offensive boards (out of 16 chances) for the game. I think this was a combination of our guys putting in some effort, the ball bouncing our way, and a general disappearing act by the Wizards. They have the athletes but didn't offer much resistance beyond chasing on a few traps.

A welcome win, no doubt. I will feel a lot better when we can win against a much stronger overall defense.

Nene had 3 offensive rebounds and 8 total in 15 minutes of play, which is that tough rebound fighter we need when Clint is resting. Surely he can play 15 minutes a game throughout the playoffs and not need resting. I much prefer to "Think Big", and not revert to weird lineups. Weird is for Austin, and I say let's keep it real in Houston.

It's now up to 40-2. Simply ridiculous.

My favorite part of yesterday was in the post-game presser, hearing coach say that Gerald will definitely be in the playoff rotation.

I'm worried about Nene, I'm afraid he's not going to be able to flip the switch when playoffs come. Every aspect of his game seems to be deteriorating this year, I RARELY find myself saying "great play Nene!". It's always "How did he miss that layup?" and "Crap, he couldn't dunk it and they fouled him. I hope he makes at least one of his free throws."

I want 2017 Playoffs Nene back... beast mode baseline jumper, pick n roll dunks, great post defense, blocked shots, etc.

Lucky he performed above expectations last year. This year he is what he was supposed to be when we signed him after Washington.

Also lucky that Black has been doing better of late IMO. We have the depth at 5 this year.

D'Antoni also likes the small lineup with Tucker at the 5. Luckily the Rockets can get away with playing that lineup against the Warriors.

Not to get too carried away on the "s**t on John Wall" train because he's had some bad luck, but man, I started thinking about his place in history and I looked at his "career similarity scores" on basketball-reference ...

Damn those are some depressing comparisons for a very hyped #1 pick.
