As a non-Christian, I seem to have a lot of time on my hands on Easter eve. So anyway, I have a google news feed and it is just hilarious the stuff that I see on my feed from Fox News. A little look at the Fox News front page tonight. This is at the top of the page right now. FIVE stories, basically all about how people hate Trump. LOL Right below, there's this image. I mean... really? Then we need a scary guy to reinforce the whole "America first" supremacy thing. And then.... we can round it out with some good ole fashioned family fun, 30 round mags for all of you so you can protect your families! Not particularly subtle in the way they manipulate their consumers.
hey this looks so similar to my thread http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php?threads/cnns-home-page-right-now.276703/
The RussianLegend false equivalency posse just showed up. Wasup comrade? Do you get like a Russian bat signal type thing any time your racist buffoon needs some deflection? Mkay.
You're just mad because this thread is similar to my CNN thread. You even made an appearance there defecting obvious propaganda tactics by CNN. Apparently, this is extremely dangerous to our democracy.
No, actually your thread had a bunch of people exposing a bunch of Trump lies and then you posting a bunch of wingnut websites. Go read it. That page by CNN had a bunch of newsworthy things, John McCain is a damn Senator, what he says matters. What you have here is a bunch of BS MAGA stories, a big shark (YIKES), a picture in black and white to terrify "the whites", and then a guy handing out a bunch of 30 round mags. What is a poorly educated Trumpanzee supposed to make of that succession of images and stories? I'm safe, the economy is great, and we have a great country or people hate you, the browns are trying to kill you, and don't let go of your guns. False equivalency, the domain of wingnuts everywhere. False Equivalence A common way for this fallacy to be perpetuated is one shared trait between two subjects is assumed to show equivalence, especially in order of magnitude, when equivalence is not necessarily the logical result.[2] False equivalence is a common result when an anecdotal similarity is pointed out as equal, but the claim of equivalence doesn't bear because the similarity is based on oversimplification or ignorance of additional factors. The pattern of the fallacy is often as such: "If A is the set of c and d, and B is the set of d and e, then since they both contain d, A and B are equal". d is not required to exist in both sets; only a passing similarity is required to cause this fallacy to be used. False equivalence arguments are often used in journalism[3][4] and in politics, where the minor flaws of one candidate may be compared to major flaws of another.[5][6] Looks about the same. Nice job comrade.
Yes you're right, CNN's front page displaying 14 negative articles about Trump and 1 article of Hillary with a photo of her hugging a black girl means there is no biased in coverage. No manipulation! If you actually believe CNN and liberal media was/is fair to Trump then you have 0 credibility with this thread.
CW probably thinks CNN's coverage of the gun debate is also fair and unbiased, the same network that is trotting out students who are pro gun control but refusing to give any attention to pro 2nd amendment students. Again if you believe only Fox News or "wingnut" news is biased and have agendas then you have no credibility.
I'm glad we agree I'm right. Maybe next time you won't trot our your false equivalency so eagerly. It's kind of funny someone who unabashedly supports a p***y grabbing, racist, ignorant buffoon talking about credibility. That makes me giggle.
Hey RussianLegend, do you get paid by the post or by the hour? Do they give you holiday pay? Is Easter a federal holiday in Russia? I'm curious. Do you find it curious that Trump continues to use a campaign slogan since his campaign has been over for more than a year? Does he just understand that slogans are good for low attention span Fox News viewers so he can just wrap up everything he wants to do in one slogan? He can use his slogan as a trigger for who you should be afraid of, why you should be afraid, and how only he and his authoritarian style can protect you? It's so Mussolini. That's why that stupid red hat is so effective with low information voters. They understand the symbolism. Plastering that red hat all over Fox News is great propaganda.
CNN is not liberal media. CNN gets attacked and vilified by Trump and his cult followers because they know CNN tries to play it down the middle to a fault so the more they can try and shame them and their viewers the more they can push their narrative and allow for their right wing panelists to talk over everyone else to dominate the conversation. While the producer says “we gotta have a voice from the right so....” Crookedmedia.com is liberal media. MSNBC has a couple liberal media broadcasts a night. Sirius XM Progress is liberal media. Thinking about it, even as a progressive myself... there is actually very little real “liberal” media in reality, but a whole lot of right wing media anywhere you look, and the mainstream which tries to have it both ways which only leads to them getting further vilified by both sides. Kind of makes you wonder if there really is this Illuminati deep state trying to turn America into a Communist State, why they suck so bad at creating media that actually is liberal.
Oh it's a pretty valid one. I'll post it again. Slogans and symbols are yuuuuge for low information voters who lack the attention span to read anything longer than a paragraph. Oh noes! You found two videos with Obama saying Yes We Can at political rallies! Well, that's definitely about the same as Trump saying MAGA all the damn time everywhere he goes in just about every speech he gives. Great work RussianLegend. Maybe I should post this again. False equivalence is a logical fallacy in which two completely opposing arguments appear to be logically equivalent when in fact they are not. This fallacy is categorized as a fallacy of inconsistency.[1] A common way for this fallacy to be perpetuated is one shared trait between two subjects is assumed to show equivalence, especially in order of magnitude, when equivalence is not necessarily the logical result.[2] False equivalence is a common result when an anecdotal similarity is pointed out as equal, but the claim of equivalence doesn't bear because the similarity is based on oversimplification or ignorance of additional factors. If clutchfans popped up on your feed those five stories about Trump hate would be outnumbered by actual hate threads.
Okay let me write this down, a politician is only allowed to say campaign slogans at political rallies. if he or she is not giving a speech then slogans are prohibited. If you make political slogans outside of a political rally you're pandering to "low information voters". That goes same with tweeting One example I found is this politician using campaign slogan outside of a rally and based on Cuntwins rules he's now pandering to low info voters Okay got it, thank you for sharing your wisdom. We truly appreciate it.
CNN that was started by Ted Turner isn't liberal? I used to think CNN was balanced but their coverage of Trump early on was ridiculous.
When you engage with a poster who is paid by the Russian government to spread propaganda on this site, nobody wins.
