Strange, I thought I made it a point to use the plural qualification for that question.

    Oh well.

The DC establishment aren't elected -- my point is that people who have careers in federal service aren't pleased with the disruption and it would be natural to push back at someone who has open contempt for them and their careers -- kind of like many of my fellow state employees do for Governor Abbott. My other point was that it has less to do with political orientation than it does other things.

But even among prominent Republicans, there are plenty of NeverTrumpers and neocons (like the token conservatives at the NYTimes, pretty much anyone at Weekly Standard, Senators McCain and Lindsey Graham) who are not aboard the Trump train.

The FBI doesn't blackmail people. They arrest people on procedural charges in order to get convictions. That's why you should always keep quiet if you are ever questioned by them, even if you are certain you are innocent. They are not nice people.

Everyone loved Greenwald until he continued to be critical of the government when a Democrat was elected president. The same is true for Wikileaks and leakers in general. While I would prefer you not take your cognitive dissonance out on me, thank you nonetheless for the compliment.

I'm not implying that you are hungry for war with Russia. I'm saying that people like Bill Kristol are using tribal prejudice like yours to manufacture the kind of consent that war requires. And look at you, damn if it isn't working splendidly.

Suddenly it's totally normal that the most disgraced neo-cons of the "Trust us, WMDs because Chalibi said so" era are in synch with the most hawkish Democratic Party in my lifetime, bizarrely paranoid about all things Russian, and only just a few years after this happened:

Again, it's a "We were always at war with Eurasia" moment. Even the average Israeli isn't this gullible.

America already changed their society in the 1990s, when Boys From Chicago were sent to give Russia what they called "shock therapy" and try to turn the country into Chile circa 1973. That's how Putin came to power in the first place.

In a democratic society, every citizen unfortunately shares some blame for the actions of its government, even if that consent is implied through silence. All the p***y hats in the world cannot change that or the history that preceded Donald Trump and allowed him to be where he is.

Kind of like how he makes no apologies for ruining the life of Steven Hatfill for five years over the anthrax affair, before deciding to get an evidence-free, or at the very least questionable conviction for some other poor sod that killed himself?

I understand that someone has to do it, and he's a former FBI director, but his J. Edgar Hoover-like ability to "always get his man" hardly makes him the paragon of justice so many seem keen on having us believe.

Btw it was Ashcroft not Mueller that ultimately helped in ruing the life of Steve. Hatfill. Ashcroft was the one that turn the media spot light on Steven Hatfill. Was the anthrax case perfect no. Btw where did you get it was evidence free on Dr. Ivis? I read the article you posted. It said no where that it was evidence free. You can say some of it was circumstantial evidence but you can’t say it was evidence free. I am not saying by all means Mueller is perfect but he is non political and that is what we need especially at this time and age where we see both sides constantly go to respective bunkers. Also inreguards to no apologies for the investigation here is his direct quote on the matter.
So no apologies was for the reference of the leaks from FBI which lead to the ruin of Hatfil not the investigation itself. Ashcroft did not help the situation either. As for the learning curve and what Mueler has learned from the matter is there is little or no leaks coming Muellers team on the Russian investigation. Mueller is the right person for this special investigation

Not sure where you're from, but different peoples do have different phrasing.

I got a kick out of "puede ser" in Argentina. Had a friend whose family was from Nuevo Leon and cracked up about it..."What do you mean, 'can it be'?" But that's how they say "please". Different strokes.
