I'm pretty sure he missed his last four shots in this game and he also turned the ball over two times in the last minutes, literally gave two consecutive games away...and you know what? Yesterday was Melo fault, tonight apparently is George fault...lulz.
But hey, one assist shy of a triple double. Give him another MVP trophy, because stats are the only thing that matters.
The ideal case is to meet wolves in the 1st round and vs pelicans in the 2nd round. Spurs and okc are not our favourites
I doubt we rest against a possible playoff matchup. They will want to win for sure and we will prob play both Harden and Cp3. That’s my opinion, we need to play with everyone against the spurs, okc and Portland. But okc and spurs will be playing for playoffs spot. We only need to rest guys if they are a little hurt or if we are up by a lot in the 4th. The playoffs are just a couple weeks away we need to be ready and not rusty. Don’t you want to sweep the spurs anyway? I wanna sweep the spurs and Portland and win against okc. We don’t wanna give them any hope that they can win if they match up against us.
Best case scenario Rockets play 2 of Jazz/Pels/Wolves/Spurs in Rounds 1-2 and Warriors play Thunder in Round 1 and Blazers Round 2 (if they make it that far). If Warriors beat Thunder and Blazers they’d be pretty worn out and WCF would be a quick series imo
Donavan is looking like a coach that has no idea what he is doing. They need to fire him and replace him with Mchale. The Thunder just need to play Harder!
Not sure about that. All these last games are essentially meaningless. Again The spurs need all their games way more
Yeah, that would be ideal, but the Timberwolves have easy games left,. They could end up in 4th if they don't blow them, and probably play San Antonio.
If we could freeze the standings right now, I'd be ecstatic: Rox vs. Pelicans in the First Round Rox vs. T'wolves/Spurs winner in the 2nd round (I'm not scared of the Spurs this year, especially with Paul) Warriors play the Jazz in 1st Round - tough, defensive series Warriors play winner of Blazers/Thunder in the 2nd round - fiery, energetic point guards who Curry may or may not be forced to guard coming back from injury Can the season end today, please?
I agree with this scenario too! Its just crazy that another game can change the whole matchups because of how close they are.
I know it’s the spurs but their not a very talented team. Coached well? Absolutely but with kawhi (he ain’t playing this year) they have zero chance against us or golden state. Imo they would lose a 7 game series to the clippers, there just not that good. Okc is a interesting matchup. On paper they are tough, some games they look tough. But I’ll go with what I’ve seen from Russ his whole career. He’ll always lose you the series. He can win a game by himself and most likely will but he can’t do it 4/7 games. He can’t even do it 2/7. PG13 is outta there as soon as let me check my calendar..... around April 23. That team isn’t winning a 1st round series against anyone. To much high low play from both. Rockets are historically great only team that presents any problem is a healthy warriors. All these other teams are easy outs for us. Rockets fans don’t need to worry about anyone this is a totally different caliber of team than in years psst
The Spurs and Thunder are sleeping giants in the same way the Rockets were in 2016. it doesn't freaking matter which of them are where
People need to stop worrying so much about the Thunder. Potatoe head said it best when he said "This criticism of #Rockets CP3 & Harden about playoffs is fine but to follow that up & say OKC is more reliable, I bring up Melo & PG’s playoff history. If your going to knock one side be fair & knock the other. With that said I think both teams will be entertaining come playoffs." We will be fine. We just need to stay healthy. As of now all our regular season games are meaningless.
Now, We have to beat blazer and okc to make the ranked 3rd to 10th in chaos. Blazer does not have enough power to beat warriors especially lilard injuries.
