I just tried the nba 2k 2018 demo and they look more fake here in the true show (especially in the end when it's like they're trying hard to not laugh) than in the videogame, lol these trolls

So the MVP is about stats when Harden is the front runner ala Westbrook/LBJ and about wins when Harden has amazing stats ala Curry..... Hope Harden understands what's going on and even if he does get it he resents that it was because they "had to" not because they believed him to be the MVP. Has this ever happened to any other player ever? If Harden was a Laker I feel like he could have already won it twice. Anyways, hopefully Harden can use this to light a fire for the playoffs and show the world he is the best player in the world. Because he is....

I mean, he has a point. Remember, it wasn't him who changed the MVP narrative from best player to best player in the best team. He feels lebron has developed enough of a resume to be crowned the best player in the NBA. I'm not sure I disagree with him. The reason I have always felt Harden deserves it purely based off Curry. My objection has consistently been if Curry deserves it Harden does as well because he checks all the same boxes Steph has checked. Can you say with a straight face either of those two guys is as great as Lebron is? I can't. I don't fault him for his lebron vote, but I do fault him for not making this argument two years ago against Curry.

Um, we've had injuries too. We've also managed to adapt our team to a half-court offense when our war chest is riddled with fast place players.

While I agree that the numbers for LeBron are better, our team has shown better performance in a tougher division and have taken both games against the cavs. In fact, Beard had a triple double in the first meet when LBJ put down 33 (with a A/TO ratio of below 1). Hell, CP3 didn't even play that first game. Come second game, LBJ dang near disappeared.

We're the better team, straight up, and that's in large part due to James Harden's MVP style of play. Only way though to settle this though is a Rox/Cavs finals, which I'm happy to welcome as Cavs still haven't proven that their new team has completely gelled the way the Rox (and the new additions) have this season.

To be fair, the ones Max mentions. I mean, there are arguments to be made for and against these two numbers, but they do add some value to Max's arguments.

    eFG % - Beard 54; LBJ 59.
    VORP - Beard 7.7; LBJ 8.1.

LBJ's assists and rebounds are also higher. But rebounds is probably a reflection of position rather than skill, and assists are roughly the same.

With that said though, Beard hasn't been coasting in continuity. So LBJ's argument doesn't hold as much weight as he thinks. We're also relatively a new team with a flux in available personnel, and we're coming out on top. Not just floating.

This. Anything the media plays a role in isn't pure to the sport.
