Lillard, CJ, Lebron are NBA babies. The more word they say, the more it will haunt them. The Warriors last year was motivated because King James mocked them at a party. GOATs is MJ 6-0, Hakeem 2-0 (undefeated in Finals).

Harden would be absolutely eviscerated in the media if he said this ****.. ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED!

Not going to lie, now I'm worried for Harden and the MVP..

Olajuwon is not undefeated in NBA finals. He would have had 3 championships if Sampson did not get injured against Celts.

I forgot that one, 2-1, but Hakeem is GOAT to me and always over Jordan. It will never change unless Harden gives us 3.

He is supposed to STFU! when was the last time someone overtly campaigned for the NBA that wasn't in the front office? Let's not pretend it isn't taboo to say you want the MVP.

Harden got destroyed last year for saying, "I thought it was about winning" when he saw the MVP slipping from his hands before his very eyes.

"What else is he supposed to say" is becoming super problematic around here by the way.

If he says that people will say he has no will, doesn't want to assert his dominance etc.

Jordan should have given his MVPs to Hakeem because Jordan was playing with Pippen, rodman etc whereas Hakeem was rolling with crackheads and Ralph Sampson's injured ass but he didn't say anything. Kobe should have given his MVP to Tim Duncan as Duncan was the real MVP all the years after Shaq's 3 peat and before Lebron played.

I don't see you complaining about Jordan and Kobe not returning their MVP trophies. Lebron thinking he is the shitz is fine. It is up to the actual voters to make the correct choice.

If Harden doesn't get it at this point, this MVP thing is a total joke. You could argue that even LeBron in his peak wasn't as good as Harden in 2017-18.

"...what's been happening with our team all year long..."

Yeah. You mean how you caused all of the drama and had a horrible stretch at the middle of the season and got half of your team traded because you weren't happy? How you have basically held a franchise hostage to try to get it to bend to your will and even with all of that, you are just barely the 3rd seed....in the LEast conference?

To be fair, Harden has said similar things about himself in the past. Harden has said he thought he deserved to win the MVP in previous seasons.

It's not really a good look, but I don't know why people care so much about an award that's basically a popularity contest whose voters are members of the media.

24 hour sports networks have turned the MVP award into something much bigger than it deserves. The MVP is won by getting votes from the media, while and NBA title is won on the court. The NBA title is a thousand times more important than the MVP award to me.

Is this made up? He really said that crap? I don't want him. His ego would destroy the chemistry of the Rockets, and we already have the Ego we want, Eric "I want to bounce a ball off of LeBron's face" Gordon. Up yours, LB James.
