Harden will win MVP this year but this is a great reminder that even though it should absolutely be unanimous, it won't be. A New Orleans guy will choose Anthony Davis, a Cleveland guy will choose LeBron James ... it's inevitable. But they absolutely deserve to be called out.
OP this thread would be improved by editing and putting "KELLERMAN" in the title. for the culture. for @tinman
After watching this video. The Mashburn guy who voted Melo that one year deserves to be tossed. Moronic voting from a guy who has the mindset of, lets be different than everyone else.
I still remember that Denver beat reporter that voted Von Miller over Watt. There is no criteria anywhere that would sensibly give Lebron or David a 1st place vote. I don’t care if you are the best player in the world when you feel like it, 3 months of bad defense and locker turmoil caused by you shouldn’t be rewarded. Harden would’ve had that Cavs team at 55 wins in the East.
and this season, ppl will vote for Lebron because "Lebron should win it every year". Let's just face it, Harden is hated unjustly for his playstyle and they want to penalize him because many non-Rocket fans think he's cheating. If the voters voted without any bias, Harden should win unanimously this season.
The eye test told that the media is biased over the past few years; but the video goes into some detailed numbers. Thanks DreamShook
I think it gets let go once he gets awarded the trophy this year. We are still allowed to b**** about it.
Damn, (re: MVP) y'all gonna be miserable til June then. He's a lock this year. No, he won't be unanimous. No, he won't get it next year either. He'll be old news & the media will find a new player/story to attach to. AD, Giannis, Kyrie, Kawhi, Damian, LeBron
