You mentioned Danny Green, could one of the Stars off the bench be Rudy Gay?

Both Rudy and Danny have player options this summer

I agree with not capitalizing that Swiss Army Panzies' name. Dude prolly sits down to pee, crosses his legs, and flogs himself wearing his '98 Pippen jersey.

This is dangerous territory, isn't it? I think Capella is Cassell and Horry combined. Mark Bryant is his Swiss accent.

This team is very old. Lots of players that are 30-35 years old. They should be making changes.

Capela is a max player when you consider the year over year improvement, him being a big, and him going into his prime years. Not locking up Capela to a max deal would be a huge mistake. He's going to be a star; just his 4th year in the league and he's on the doorstep of being an all star. He was raw when we drafted him; we knew it would take a few years to develop him, and we need to have the discipline and patience to commit to him, as he's exceeded our best expectations. As far as i'm concerned we have a big 4 (Gordon, Harden, Paul and Capela). There are very few players in the league i'd risk screwing that up for.

I know replacing Ariza with Paul George would be a big upgrade, but when you take into account salary and chemistry, there are probably better fits. I like the Kevin Love talk because it really makes sense. He's a good fit; pretty sure he is hungry to win another ring, we really need help at the 4 and he'd fit nicely into MDA's system; he'd improve our front court rebounding while maintaining the spacing advantage Ryno gives us. I just don't know how Morey pulls it off with Ryno's contract on the books.

I do think we can win a championship with the team we have right now. I'm all for continuing to improve the team, but i think you have to be very careful about the moves we make. This is a very close team and probably the best rockets team we've ever had.

actually, giving a pick and roll center a max deal would be an huge mistake. its a good thing he wont be getting that

Weve got an ascending 23/24 yr old averaging 16/11/2.5 in a league starving for mobile 5's.

You dont get compensatory picks in the nba when a player leaves. Our only job is to keep him a rocket instead of letting another team benifit from our development. Were not letting him walk out the door; he'll have max offers.

Letting Capela leave over money would be foolish in my opinion

Doesn't matter. That sounds good and all but A pick and roll center isn't getting max

Kawhi didn't play this year, so that doesn't count. After that, all of the other players you listed made the all-star roster this season...

If you think Dray leading the team in rebounds and assists isn't good enough to say he's an integral part of their roster, I'd be curious to see how harsh you'd be in judging Clint Capela or PJ Tucker. I feel comfortable in sayine're also not finishing #1 in the West without PJ + Capela.

I´m close to your logic. But I always get stuck on this question. Is there a center that gest you 80% of Clint´s production? if so, what player is that and what price does it have?

I´m starting to think we may have in our hands a pick and roll center, yes, but a very particular one.

we have one that doesn't carry with him an ego and also understands his role. those things do go a long way. I still believe hell get a nice pay without a doubt but the time to dish out actual max level to these types of players was during the cap spike.

I honestly think he does a lebron one year smaller deal with player option next year to get other pieces for the team or big. piece

Opts out the next year and signs his big deal.

Clint knows harden/cp3 is the best possible scenario for him and he won't blow that plus a shot at multiple championships.

Even if he leaves next year for a max deal that we don't match... I think sacrifices one year for a championship. The way he talks you know he's thinking that
