    Am I the only one who lost interest in buying a home in Houston?
    I never really thought I would move from here but I am definitely more open to it now.

    Yeah we just got a new house but it's likelihood to flood was our first consideration in picking a location. And in doing so we actually did move out of Houston - to Cypress.

    I haven't been to Houston since the Hurricane what is the general status now? Are houses sitting empty waiting for FEMA money - do some areas still look like war zones - etc.?
