I'm just glad our resident pro-scout/QB Guru didn't decide to "show" Deshaun Watson how to throw a ball.

3 THINGS to take from this.

    Watson will be backup QB.

    Jackson will be our WR.

    or

Texans will never ever have a chance to work him out private in the future and in case something ever happens, they had this one day.

I feel like this is a good time to remind everyone that our backup QB is currently Taylor Heinicke

Who is that goofball on the left? Not sure I like the cut of his jib. Don't like his tie, don't like his ears, I just don't think I like him.

Lamar Jackson is not an NFL QB. Maybe we have some gimmickry in mind for him, but he will not be any good as your full time passer.

Not that I think our backup situation is any good, just that even as a backup he's not good enough.

I think he is the closest thing to Deshaun Watson (run the same type scheme) just less talented. At the very least it wouldnt be like switching to Tom Savage the statue afterwards.

No, it would be like switching to Braxton Miller.

I'm not saying the results would be the same but you could run a lot of the same plays. Read options and stuff. Savage you just had to run crossing routes because he had .2 seconds to throw the ball from a stand still.

I like Jackson but I feel the Texans are wasting time working him out. He will not be available to us in the 3rd and it wouldn't be a good idea to trade up for him considering all the other holes that need to be addressed.

No, what would be smart is signing Kaepernick! Why trade up and loose what draft equity you have, when there's a guy on the streets who is just as talented and has been to a Super Bowl.

Here's hoping some team WAKES UP!

    Pretty sure that's Paul Ryan.

Ignore him. This time last year he was saying the exact same thing about Deshaun Watson. His QB takes are flat out unreliable.

    LOL,

People like you may trivialize the amazing progress that Watson made, but it's pretty stupid to do so.
