Michael Bennett is not a true professional & I hope he doesn't retire a Texan.

****ing piece of ****. I do not claim him or his sorry ass piece of **** brother as a product of Houston. Scum of the ****ing Earth that like to cry wolf and play victim, but in reality are nothing but ego filled bullies thinking they are above everyone. That one ESPN interview with the both of them really pissed me off before all the news of the vegas shooting, martellus faking an injury to go to the pats and now this. **** them, their parents should be b**** slapped.

It would appear that the Houston Police Chief is eager to taint the jury pool with his inappropriate and unprofessional behavior. Talk about thinking one is above the law! Bennett has a right to privacy and due process. This policeman has violated that and is out of line.

Look, I dont want to turn this into a D&D but have you ever hear of a crime report? If you are referring to him "tainting" the jury pool, by putting out evidence of the incident, then I think you are sorely mistaken of any wrong doing by him. There is no privacy of an incident of a crime, it becomes public record. The warrant was issued, therefore making it a convicted crime.

This is not a crime report, it's the chief of police stating his personal views. Furthermore, he makes deliberate misrepresentations of Bennett based on mere allegations. Bennett may, and should, sue for defamation, the policeman has used his position to damage the character of a private citizen and deny him due process.

Furthermore, various legal proceedings being of the public record does not entitle a police officer to violate the public trust. You are simply wrong on this.

Lastly, a warrant being issued do not mean Bennett has been convicted of a crime. If you are serious about that comment then you should refrain from further commenting.

What is that supposed to mean? Say it to his face....... What a cop out statement. lulz. Id be as defenseless as that "elderly paraplegic" woman that he injured. This is a man that is paid to be in the NFL and wreck 300lb guys and you want me to say it to his face? The fact that he can whoop my ass, doesnt change the fact that hes a piece of **** that assaulted and injured an elderly paraplegic woman. Step off.

...and so you have been tainted just as the officer intends.

As of now these are only allegations, not statements of fact. This is precisely the problem and is specifically why policemen and attorneys should not discuss such matters in public before trial.

While I agree the "say it to his face" comment is unproductive, so was the "his parents should be slapped" one. If you don't appreciate inflammatory remarks, you shouldn't be making them.

I'm just glad that neither of them are my problem. So long as they stay away from the Texans, I don't care what they do or what happens to them.
