Le'Bryan Nash Link to his player profile page on ESPN below. 6'7" Forward. College guy that played college ball two years ago and never played in the NBA. I have never seen him play, so I can't comment about his play. Probably just a practice guy. Sad to think we had to release Troy Williams to sign Brandan Wright. http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/player/_/id/57030/lebryan-nash
He was playing in Korea until they were eliminated from post-season contention a week or so ago (worst team in the league) - averaged 19/6/2 and shot 32% from 3, 73% from the stripe in 26 games.
His Japanese highlights are terrible. All he does is shoot mid-range and he doesn't even shoot it that well. Also lazy/terrible defender. I mean I can't believe we signed this scrub over someone like Josh Smith.
It's why he's a buyout at age 30 when he should be getting paid 8 figures. The guy is an elite roll man and decent defender. Never could get healthy.
Morey's been secretly growing him in a vat after stealing a lock of Nash's hair, one of Lebron's toenail clippings, and a thimble full of Kobe's sweat.
L'Bryan Nash is a 6'7", 230-lb SF from Dallas. Played 1 year at Oklahoma State, then went undrafted. This year, he's been playing for the Busan KT Sonicboom of the South Korean Basketball League, where he averaged about 22 points and 6 rebounds. He was with the Vipers last year and averaged about 8 points and 3 rebounds in 27 games. Found this gem in a draft profile: "The comparisons to Artest run deeper than the physical resemblance and style of play, Nash has developed a reputation for being a little bit of a headcase."
