I'd take him with our last third round pick if he's still there. I wouldn't even let the clock run down, to be honest.
His combine was downright amazing but believe he still only got one official interview that week. And that was from the Seahawks, his older brother's current team. Most projections I've seen have been the 5-7th range but who knows. Sure hope I'm wrong though, will be rooting for the guy.
https://www.tennessean.com/story/sp...it-nfl-free-agency-dolphins-saints/430737002/ Titans might make a decision to try and sign Suh as early as tomorrow. They liked him. Hopefully the Saints or Seattle get him instead, and I prefer the Saints if not us. Oops, sorry. I put this in the wrong thread.
I be very surprised if he isn’t drafted, unless he just blows his pro day ( I bet NFLN/ESPN go live from it.) Won’t be high, but he’s bringing the juice. I think having his identical twin in the league already helps. Teams that target ST players will target him. I can see him being the object of a “discussion” between the analytical Gaine and O’Brien.
Ya this is probably right. Think you’re looking at a plus ST player at a minimum but don’t know how high that will get you drafted.
If he were available with our 4th rounder I would pull the trigger. Griffin along with Dane Cruikshank, Jeremy Reaves and Kentavious Street are the guys I want to address our putrid special teams.
Forgot that BoB got a close look at Griffin during Senior Bowl. Looking back to the Senior Bowl roster, Texans staff actually had quite a few prospects that I think they could target: Alex Cappa - OT - Humboldt State Joe Noteboom - OT - TCU Rashaad Penny - RB - SDSU Shaq Griffin - OLB - Central Florida Siran Neal - S - Jacksonville St. Jeremy Reaves - S - South Alabama

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...aft-buffalo-bills-trade-up-for-baker-mayfield Five round mock draft: 68. Texans: Da'Shawn Hand, DE, Alabama 80. Texans: Joseph Noteboom, OT, TCU 98. Texans: Michael Gallup, WR, Colorado State 103. Texans: Troy Fumagalli, TE, Wisconsin
Would be ecstatic if the draft fell that way although I’d go: 68. Martinas Rankin or Orlando Brown, OT 80. Mark Andrews, TE 98. Holton Hill, CB Brown’s pro day was a lot more respectable and you’re getting 1st round talent at the biggest need. Andrews would be a nice weapon for Watson. Will need to improve blocking big time but he’s a big red zone target. Hill, even with the flags, would be a steal. Think he’d be a perfect guy to pair outside with Colvin going forward.
