If we can add EJ Gaines in free agency, I would go heavy on offensive line and tight end in the 3rd round. The Texans could go after S DeShon Elliott in a late round.

Beg to differ. I bet he will. I think he'd be a steal in the 3rd but most of the draft community is not very high on him and he didn't exactly help himself at the combine. I maybe wrong but I'd bet he's still available mid 3rd
Ya think he’ll be there, could actually see him dropping into the 4th. Usually don’t put too much stock into the combine but thought he needed a good showing and not sure he had one. But I’d be really happy with Elliott. Kid is a playmaker, something we are sorely missing in he backfield.
I don’t much about lineman but I pay a lot of attention to dbs. I would love at least two of these. Preferably DeShon Elliot & Holton Hill.

Oh great, now Indy is stacking up thanks to the Jets. Talk about a sweet deal they got. Thanks to the Jets, Indy gets 2 extra second round draft picks this year and one next year, just for swapping from 3rd to 6th spot in the draft. Ugh.
It’s a deal where both teams could win. If the jets get their guy for the next 15 years there is no price too high. Sucks that the colts may actually get the same guy they would have drafted at 3 at 6...plus all those 2nd rounders.
The Texans never get on situations like this. Trading down in the first round is so profitable. All you need are hyped up college And and desperate teams looking for signal callers.
I didn't mean it was a bad deal for the Jets. I meant it's a bad deal for us, with Indy stocking up for a trade that won't even hurt them.
