I don't think he has a legit complaint on his technical. He confronted the refs and Jrue had to hold him back. You can't confront the official when your argument is so weak and false. Gentry didn't even have a good view. and the foul happened right in front of the ref. That's just disrespect to them. They'll give more leeway if you have an legit and rational argument.

Harden solidifies his MVP status over Anthony Davis while leading the Houston Rockets to a win against the New Orleans Pelicans!

    LOL

There was no debate. AD was never in the running for league MVP. He is in the running for runner-up

Harden had the MVP locked up before the all star break. Everything else is just pessimistic debbie downers who are butthurt from years past.

It’s nice to see the Worriers struggle with this “cupcake” schedule they have.

I don’t care if their 3 all stars are out. This is the first time they’ve had to deal with injury adversity.

Won’t matter, I hope they are at full strength when the Rockets play them in the playoffs because Rockets are just better...

Same reason PJ was tripping when he got called for knocking someone out of bounds.

That 3 point foul seemed obvious. He hit harden and harden wildly missed the shot.

Harden's post defense has been great. It makes our switchability scary good

Nice to get a W by having that one 3Q surge that put us up 20. However, the wide open looks and hot/cold 3 pt game won’t be enough for the playoffs. I hope we can stay healthy and grind out the 1 seed.

Love, love our determination to win, chasing loose balls and contesting shots. Also, I love our change of pace fast break. Running at different speeds does affect the other team, limits our TOS, etc.

We’ll have to get more player movement (like our 1st quarter stuff) throughout playoff games.

On the fouls, I wish Harden didn’t make fishing for calls so much of his game. It’s too much like Reggie Miller for my tastes. Was he ever the league MVP?

Barkley and Darnley use to pound dribbles and wait and wait and wait.... I never liked that style. And it really didn’t work for them either. Make a quick move and take the ball with passion to the rim.

I knew they would give us trouble. Some teams always seem to, and there isn't always a logic to it. We came out of the game with a win, and that's all that really matters.

Sportscenter put up a graphic showing that Boggie and AD get more foul calls than Harden. I wouldn't venture into this comments..

Tucker didn't cry to the press/media about it though

Loved our defense in stretches, but again we got real complacent at times. Also, what's up with the small line-up? It worked because we got away with some holding and shoving on AD, as well as their incompetence to get him the ball in his spots, but still. Can Green get some minutes over Joe please? Stop favoring the players you like MDA and live up to your words! Harden was calm, tried to shoot himself back in the game which didn't burn us but those iso possessions really bothered me. We need to know when to get other guys shots like Ariza who was wide open at times and just didn't get the ball, because Harden was pre-determined to get his own.

CP3 on the other hand needs to be more selfish when he's in that midrange era. I loved the post ups in the 2nd quarter and we could've used that a bit more in the 2nd half. The referees were again pretty bad, with obvious calls not called and some ticky tack things getting whistled. Glad they didn't call any bullshit flagrant or something like that, but I get Gentry's point. CP3 and Tucker get away with some stuff, partly because of their reputation, but also Harden with some holds. That's not why they lost though.

I'd love to play this team in the 1st round, they have some real nice players in Ian Clark, Moore and love that kid Diallo. The energy, the hustle, the blocks. And Ian Clark would be perfect for us, that stroke is sweet. AD needs to step up as a leader, demand the ball and just go to work. They could've exploited that more, though our help defense was excellent and we swarmed for most of the night. It helps to have Chuck Hayes the 2nd coming. PJ is great!
