Makes them even more dangerous. Might be the pre-season fave out of the NFC...at least between them and the Rams.
Really interesting that Minnesota had 3 viable quarterbacks and all became free agents in the same year. They let them all go and sign Cousins. Could prove to be an overpay but he looks like the best option of the four.
I was really expecting him to go to the Broncos, but he probably wanted to stay in the NFC to get some payback on the Redskins. And the Vikes being a good team doesn't hurt either
The Vikings have some very good developing offensive weapons. I would not be surprised at all if Cousins puts up some monster numbers and the Vikings are the #1 or #2 seed. How Cousins will do in the playoffs where mistakes are magnified, remains to be seen. Still he has gone to a place where he has an opportunity to excel.
So for $84M, they missed the playoffs. Spoiler Case didn't have the same success again this year. Redskins went 7-9 again (with all their QBs going down)
Keenum was a better fit. He doesn't have the same talent level at Denver. Now, Vikings have an expensive not very good QB.
