Kubiak loves him some stability at QB and he knows Keenum inside and out.

    Good signing for both parties.

No wonder he seemed so happy at the game yesterday.

First thought: Keenum is not an Elway type QB. He bought himself a year or two, but he put himself in a poor position as a long term starter. Even if he earns the position, Elway will replace him. That said, all of the other teams he could have signed with likely would put him in the same position. Just think with Elway he has no chance for sustainability.

Second thought: Minnesota is committed to two unhealthy quarterbacks with no track record. It's just dumb.

    Third thought:
Think Denver will allow Keenum to push it down field. So think he could match his last season. I worry about Keenum playing on a slow track in cold weather, but the offense should be fair.

All that said: Good for Keenum, he's a starter and that's better than his future course going into last season. So it's still a step up.

Will be interesting to see the contract details, but in any case I suspect Case will now be set for life which isn't bad for a 7th round pick

I thought Minnesota was going after Cousins. Case got himself a whole lot of money and his family will be set. Good on him.

Denver Post is saying they expect it to be a short term deal averaging high teens to 20 mil a year.

Exactly. Seems like a genuinely good guy. Love to see guys like that succeed.

Sure, and it's even better for someone who went undrafted, like Keenum.

His contract is probably going to be a mirror image of Blake Bortles'.

    Effectively a 2 year deal.

That being said, 30 million bucks is nothing to sneeze at when you've been making under 900K on average your entire career.

I hope he cashes out after this deal and calls it quits. Don't want to see his brain turned to jello.

Love Case and happy for him, but this is just another stopgap measure destination. Denver obviously lost out on Cousins quickly and moved to Keenum + 1st round QB as the Plan B. Will turn into another Jared Goff situation for him shortly.

Man, y'all LOVE him. You don't see me stalking Ryan Tannehill.

This immediately makes the Broncos more interesting to watch.

You know, they could have had Brock...

The list of great Aggie QBs starts and ends at Kevin Murray, who I always thought got a raw deal in the NFL.
