Um... no. I trust MDA/Biglydick/Rogers/Lucas/etc. to catch pretty much everything. There's nobody on ClutchFans with any crucial insight that those guys don't have.

To use your medical field analogy, I wouldn't want a brain surgeon operating on me to listen to the advice of any lay-person. So unless one of the people here on CF happens to be a current or former pro basketball coach, I don't think there's any way MDA and staff could benefit from our advice.

I don't know a brain surgeon that doesn't listen to the advice of the patient he's working on. If there is one out there, I imagine he isn't very good.

I would agree with that. So MDA should entertain suggestions from his players, especially the starters and veterans.

    Clutchfans suggestions, though? Nah.

A brain surgeon isn't going to take advice from a patient on how to perform a brain surgery, thats stupid.

Joe took a step forward tonight, I was glad to see that and hopefully he gained some confidence. I'm very interested to see if he can build on this over the next 5 games against quality, winning teams. Apache mentioned his value in the low post and JJ showed that tonight with great efficiency (even got screwed on that offensive foul on Barea who flopped), and I would love to see him replicate his performance in the next 5 games. The key is going to be how well he can tread water on defense, so that his offensive production will have an overall positive impact. Even as well as he played tonight, he was still a -4 in his +/-.

I can see that coach wants to "invest" minutes in Joe to help us in the playoffs, but man did losing against Toronto really piss me off, given that Johnson played so poorly (admitted by MDA in the post game interview tonight), and Gerald Green could have helped us win that one-possession game. Curry getting hurt has likely made this mistake less meaningful, but at the time in a tight race for the #1 seed, I still feel it was the wrong call by coach to give Joe all 16 of those minutes. Even splitting them 8/8 between JJ and GG would have made a difference IMO.
