I think it was a joke and baiting people like cnn. It is a typical distraction from one of the most harmful policies he has ever done. Tariffs. Threatening the EU. It is like he doesn’t know how trade policy works.

trump can't even tell the truth re: trump-favoring Rasmussen polls, which show him at a 44%. Gallup has him still at 39% and Quinnipiac has him still at 38%. No poll has him near 50%.
