In the last 3 games, Joe has averaged less than 3 points per game.

We don't need him to be prime Joe, but we need him to at least do better than 3 PPG.

There's a difference between them though. GG doesn't know where to be on defense and pisses off his teammates. JJ knows where to be, but can't guard anyone who is quicker than a center. It's not mental mistakes for JJ, but lack of physical capability.

The hesitancy on offense just boggles my mind.

Green and Joe should be considered equals on the pecking order. Put one out, test him for 3 minutes, and then play the other one accordingly.

You are so wrong that I'm scratching my head and like 'do you watch the games?'. JJ has rarely been where he needs to be. If he 'knows' where he needs to be then he is sabotaging the team intentionally and needs to be cut. Personally I just don't think he is that unethical. I think he just has poor defense.

I hope the Rockets get a refund on Joe & Brandan. Send 'em back to where they came from.

He's just out of shape. He is figuring out the system, then they will spend time trimming him down like they did Tucker. He will be a serviceable PF by the time the playoffs roll around imo.

I honestly just want him to shoot and stop trying to make plays. Also I’d prefer him to take the easiest defensive assignment on the floor.

Teams are picking on him because he’s a defensive liability. The same way they use to try against Harden. When he gives up 3-4 baskets in a row, take him out. We have too many guys his size that are much better defensively and also offensively.

I never thought he was here to push us over the top. CP3 did that.

Joe please just shoot the dang ball.

I really only think he was signed for vet leadership in Locker Room, since he has all that hawks playoff exp, and suns. He knows Coaches plays, plus if the rockets ever get into foul trouble his leadership can be there. Maybe not be that big spark, but if Chris Paul can find him open in the wing, he maybe change alot of people minds about him come when it counts, i mean if harden is hurting or tired, etc..

Im sure he knows how to change gears when come playoffs arrive and hes gonna have to be on key. Belive me. Why would he have anything to prove in the regular season anymore? But yea if hes stinking up out there by all means green FTW!.

Joe Johnson wasn't brought in to be a difference maker in the regular season. There is value in having some extra veterans on the team, and against the right match-ups I see him helping. Its tough when he gets switched onto those small, quick guards like VanVleet, but that's what help defense is for.

This this this this this. Figuring this out might be (maybe I'll regret saying this) even more important than home court.

It don’t even make any sense for D’Antoni a man rush because him and joe only played one season together iirc

I love the threads where they're demanding that MDA stop playing JoJo so much, because I can imagine each poster with his hands on his hips, stomping his feet with a petulant expression across his face.

"If we just show Dan Tony how displeased we are, he'll definitely make different coaching decisions!" :D

It's the last quarter of the season. We need HCA. These are win-at-all-cost games, as far as rotations(not mins, but combinations), and yet still he benches Luc for Joe Johnson out there.

The only person who continues to demonstrate a continued lack of understanding of basically every issue being commented on in the various sub forums here is you.
