Does he seem to flopping less this year? Perhaps wanting less wear and tear by taking charges? Or are you right and I am see things with rose colored glasses?
I was mostly indifferent. The Clippers team as a whole were just annoying. You have to respect a player as short as him being that good though that's for sure. The guy currently leads all time in win shares/48 over Jordan and everyone else. The only players I have ever truly disliked were probably Karl Malone, lesser extent Stockton. A few others as well I guess.
I only hate them because they ain't us. I personally don't have any problems with Westbrook, it's not his fault the media awarded his stat padding, his IQ only hurts his own team. He's passionate, he's not a dirty player, he's rude to reporters but he doesn't come off arrogant imo just brash and a bit stupid I was very impressed with his playing against the Warriors 2 years ago. Man plays his heart out, I guess I can respect that.

I used to defend Westbrook from CF hate. I knew he wasn't very smart, but I respected his heart and passion. Last season, I lost all my respect for him. His stat padding was so obvious you just couldn't look away. Yes, it's the media's fault too. But the media and Westbrook kind of fed off each other. I despise any player who pads his stats especially at the expense of his team.
That list doesn't terribly surprise me, but I think the important message there is Wiggins, not Melo.
Solid points. He's been respectable in the things that matter like loyalty to his family/teammates/city. You can't say he doesn't give any effort. He should work on his trust issues on the court but I could care less if he does I actually like that he's a dick to reporters by calling out their stupid baitclick questions. But yeah, unless he's a Rocket, ****'em
Actually, I'd say Melo doesn't limit himself normally. He does limit his teammates. He and Westbrook are kind of in the same boat. Well, they ARE in the same boat, so to speak.
