    I enjoyed that Rockets team but knew we were headed nowhere without a legit star/franchise player...thank God for Harden

    Durant and Westbrik was chokers back then, still chokers nowadays.

    Durant had to join the best team to win
    Westbrick had to be left alone to become a stat filler (but will never win)

    So answering to all the "what if they have stood together"... they would have won ZERO championships together.

    The Rockets were much better (in the McHale era) when Sampson was around. Harden probably considered him to be the actual coach when he got here which is why he still shows him love.

    That kind of douchebaggery doesn't magically appear. I liked him while he was here but all his antics show that he has always been like that and suppressed it just for a bit. That guy is the ultimate "fake guy"

    oh Yeah, I agree. It was nice to be ignorant the short time he was a Rocket. Crazy how it was DMO I thought was going to be the bigger ******* with his comments as a rookie. DMO turned out to have the more endearing personality.
