Detlef was a beast in his prime. Hated playing against him. Respected his game...

Damn I said that Ryan Anderson is closer to Detlef Schrempf than he is to Matt Bullard and @tinman goes mad.

Thats like saying Kobe Bryant is closer to Michael Jordan than he is to Dion Waiters.

I said they were similar, never once said that Ryan is superior.

But they are, Detlef is better than Anderson at what he does, but they preform similar roles.

Like a Donkey and a Mule.

Detlef and it is literally not even close at all. Detlef was a top 20ish player in the the mid to late 90s.

What sort of crappy comparison is this??

A guy who peaked at 19ppg 9.5rpg and 6apg vs a guy who couldn't get 9.5rpg if his life depended on it.... and the first guy was a SF!

They had two 7-footers (Perkins too) yak'n 3's. Schrempf was the 3. Times done changed. Yet... somehow stayed the same. Sonics were playing zones way before it was legal.

Detlef >>>> Ryno >>>>>>>> Matt Bullard

Therefore the statement "Ryno is closer to Detlef Schrempf than Matt Bullard" is not wrong.

I can also make a statement "I am closer to Albert Einstein than a pimp who is dying of drug overdose"....bad analogy, but you get the idea.
