I remember seeing this happen. And then, Harden turned to the camera and whispered almost imperceptibly, "Remember to take your prescribed medication every single day. No exceptions. The Rockets' future depends on it."
Wait I thought we already decided that James Harden was playing with a shot gun blast in his back during game 6? Did I miss something?
Yeah a 2 billion dollar company said “you know what let our interstate rival have the WCF.” We don’t need no more money...I believe there is intelligent life out there in the universe other then us, however that gene is missing in this one...
Not sure if serious but players throwing games isn't much of a conspiracy. It's happened in sports before and based off history, there have been TONS of examples of suspect activity in the NBA. Game 6 isn't the only time Harden looked like he didn't want to win. Players all have bad games. The difference is when you have a bad game you try everything else to win. When you throw a game you don't try anything, you just go out there and allow the other team to score. Every indication from game 6 shows me Harden didn't even try. He's having a incredible MVP season this year. But we all have still the right to question him for that game 6 performance
We expect too much out of Harden. Throw Curry on this team by himself and he would get ridiculed for not advancing. Not giving him a pass for game 6 but he is too great that we expect him to have a great game everytime.
Most probable explanation. Same for the "record turnover" playoff game the year before. I think Harden gets uptight when the games become more critical. He seeks stress relief in partying. Then, he is hung over for critical games and performs poorly. No proof, but a plausible explanation for several awful play-off performances going back to OKC days.
If this is conspiracy by the NBA to rig the system to maximize exposure in top media markets, please explain how the last 3 finals have been between the 8th and 19th media markets? Also explain why the #1 (NY), #2 (LA), #3 (CHI) and #4 (DAL) markets currently sport 6 lottery teams and no playoff contenders? Seriously, if you think Golden State (#8 media market) vs. San Antonio (#31 media market) is the matchup the NBA wanted in the western conference finals, you're nutz.
