CP3 played like an absolute bum for 3.5 quarters.

0.5 qtrs of HOF grit helped win the game.

    CP3 doesn't give up.

He had a couple of timely boards, too. Even though it wasn't his best 2nd half it was still a superstar performance for sure

It's like it's been so long since a close game that some fans don't remember how to handle them.

You know, I think the Celtics are just really good. They had a good game, but look at this. They are the 4th best team in the league in 3pt percentage. And they are number one in defending the three. Very impressive team the Celtics are. But, it was also a great win for the Rockets when Harden and Paul were not at their best.

That happened while the Astros were in the midst of of torturous WS run.

Compared to the Astros I barely even felt that game. Now that I'm months clear of the baseball playoffs, this was easily the most intense game of the year.

When did cp look disinterested? I don’t think that’s possible.

Impressive stat line from Harden, but Celtics played very good defense on him and CP3.

Harden was awful, looked like one of his post clubbing games, but the Rockets won anyway. Gordan was huge. JJ continues to be worthless as Green sits. Ariza was clutch. The Celtics were very impressive.

They was not a pretty win. But we won. The Celtics are a very good team. And they gave Harden and Paul lots of problems. But so many guys stepped up.

How did the Rockets win? Total team effort.

    And Eric Gordan.

    1. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. If he hit one, you wouldn't be sitting here crying about it.
    2. They weren't calling fouls when he was trying to take it to the rim earlier, despite him getting hacked all over.

Did Chris Paul ask to guard the home-run ball on that last play? I couldn't see from the camera shots in the huddle in our last timeout. Can't imagine how he ended up in that role unless he called for it. I wouldn't put it past him.

Cut the ball in half and give it to Ariza and Ego!
