The commodore comments in this thread have made it painfully obvious that he doesn't seem to follow the market and doesn't know what the alternatives can do.

Also, even some of the biggest btc maximalists have stated that it is by its very own nature a terrible currency and will likely always only be a store of value plus some other features (smart contract platform for example) if side chains work.

Without real regulation and safety bodies, cryptos will never be a viable currency on a worldwide-scale. The "uncensorable", "unregulated" etc buzzwords all sound nice at first, but you notice how shitty that approach is really quick.

Want to transfer a large amount of crypto but accidentally sent to the wrong address or made a typo? Too bad, there's no regulatory institution to save you and the money is gone.
Wallet hacked and lost funds? Too bad, no insurance and way to get it back.

People like to **** on something like xrp because it is centralized and not a true crypto by definition, but that approach is the only good way to make a payment crypto work in the real world. People can **** on their governments and banks all they want, but as soon as they lose money because of mistakes or bad actors, they are the first to run to their bank and lawyer to help them get the funds back.

We need centralized insitutions and regulations as a safety net, you have to be real about that and can't just drop buzzwords.

Most cryptos move up or down 8% in any given day. Those groups you pay for are scamming you out of money. Could be the same people that scammed you into doing election work for Russia.

Yes, exactly. They were able to fool him, so think about just how easy it is for them to fool you? We know you are getting scammed by bitcoin newsletters. We know you were fooled into openly commiting mail fraud (and trying to get others to help you!) with Google addresses - possibly connected to the Russian election fraud. Even Michael Moore would be smart enough to avoid those things. It's pretty clear you're the perfect patsy for even more sophisticated Russian troll operations.

Bitcoin newsletters? They were newsletters written by a reputable investing group and at the end of the day, they were very informative.

The Google address is local SEO strategy. I can't go into details but it was very profitable for me at the time. No one was "scammed".
