I truly believe CP3 told MDA to start running this play at the end of the game with CP3 and Luc. The Clippers connection.
I have no Idea why Jazz didn't run PnR with Gobert against the Rockets small lineup.. Just ridiculous.
Yea i mean Luc and CP3 to get their final rest in the high altitude. I just think JJ needs to get some time underneath for him not playing much and giving him some reps since they aren’t going to be practicing anymore
Def one of the best wins all season. Down 4 players on a back to back on the road. Jazz were 12-1 previous 13 games. With wins over Warriors. Raptors. Spurs (2x)
Yeah Synder is a very good coach, but even last year he would not simply spam his best offensive options(Hayward/Hill high pnr with Gobert.) Instead he'd let the ball float around until Hood got a corner brick or Joe Johnson got stuffed by Draymond on an ISO Yes, I had to throw a shot at JJ there.
I liked Harden's composure tonight. Shot efficiently and didn't try to force the 3 ball. Had a few sloppy turnovers but other than that an impressive showing after a huge performance last night.
I like how people complain about Harden getting foul calls when he was raked like 3 different times that last possession including the Gobert forearm. He’s not Steph guys, he’s built stronger than you.
Harden did that horrible stupid-ball with the terrible shots and isolation in the first quarter but afterward ran the offense consistently all night. Props to him, and probably Mike for straightening all that out. Harden makes my jaw drop with some passes and decisions he makes. That find to Luc cutting straightdown the middle I didn't even see as an option. He is the Drew Brees of the NBA.
I'm convinced CP3 manufactured that "hard foul" so he could pitch a fit and draw a tech. The j*zz had all the momentum and were threatening to win this game. CP3 steps into a hard screen, catches it on the jaw (a little harder that he expected), then rushes the ref, screaming. Even though the ref didn't give him the tech he wanted, the crew took a few minutes reviewing the play, and the Jazz momentum died while they were. Chris Paul is a smart, smart player who will do whatever it takes to win. Can we just cancel the rest of the regular season and start Round 1 tomorrow?!? This team is SO READY.
I was worried at the end of the 2nd qtr. He looked like he was getting frustrated. You can tell when Harden is frustrated when he starts shoving people on offense and defense. I bet he got a pep talk from CP3 at half time. His 3rd qtr was great.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt that way. i like substance over intangible stuff like that, but it was Phil Jackson player kind of move. Kobe, Jordan, and Fisher did stuff like that a lot in their careers. Hell Fish nearly killed Scola just to a set a tone.
A lot of people thought this was a schedule loss but this is a DIFFERENT ROCKETS squad this year. Tested and ready, no need for Melo- no need for Lebron
It was just stupid. The Rockets were playing small and the Jazz did not capitalize by running the offense through Gobert.
