Kerr trying to get the league to officiate Harden very closely in the playoffs and it will likely work to limit James. To beat the champions you have to expect the calls to go their way; so you have to be more than a little better. Ask the Kings under Adelman what it is like to play the Lakers in the WCF.
no, I'm talking about when Harden intentionally hooks his arm to the defender's arm, and then goes up to draw a shooting foul. He used to draw a ton of 3PT fouls like that but I can't find a specific video on that point. This is the closest thing that I could find. This is very different from baiting the opponent to hit his arm or hands; which is 100% OK.
I too am thankful he no longer resorts to that move although I do admire him for being the originator of something so resourceful
I agree Harden could have been more subtle in this instance and a few others, but the defender DID reach-in in this instance
Guess what ....that's a foul. Putting your hands in the air is not a defense to it. Hart needed to pull his arm out, not put it straight up.
Not a huge fan of Ariza these days. Can't rebound, not so great defense and streaky to bad shooter. Add that to already known bad handles, I would like to see Luc gets more minutes.
Steve Kerr is a b**** for this. Has no reason to complain with that stacked team he has. We should be pressuring Adam to eliminate Durant off their team
Wow Kerr, a classic deflection to the original question. The questioned asked was about Za Za being a dirty player hurting shooters like the Spurs KL. So Kerr answers about how the shooters of today are protected by the league's new rules compared to his playing days. Wow, using the deflection technique like a child does when being scolded..."its someone or something else's doing". Kerr, if you are going to be a NBA coach, answer the question asked!!!!!!!!
Kerr is trying to work the refs in anticipation of a GS - Hou WCF. One thing is for sure - when he says they don't think about the Rockets, they are lying big time
If you watch the video he never mentions Harden specifically or even seems to imply that is who he is talking about. I'm no fan of Kerr but i didn't really see a huge issue with what he said. His points are pretty valid. That being said EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. we play those bastards he throws a gigantic, **** tantrum over every call. Seriously the dude makes Doc Rivers look like Phil Jackson. He's become an annoying prick so F him. p.s. They scared over there in the bay...
The part that annoys me the most is the outspoken guys like this usually get their way when they need it. Kerr is baiting the hook. He's been doing it all season. The Rockets will get a lead on the Warriors in the playoffs (probably a 2-1 series lead), but then Kerr will pull on the line and remind everyone of the things Harden does and this team won't be able to get a call.
That's why he doesn't get respect from players. That's why CP3 fake laughed at him. He's always acting like Popo but he's not.
Kerr basically described a defensive foul, and complaining an offensive player makes sure the foul is called...... http://www.sdhsaa.com/Officials/SportSpecificInformation/Basketball/HandChecking.aspx
