    This is true in retrospect right?

    Lots of doubters at that time saying he wasn’t worth a max.

    He got a valuable and viable replacement in Kmart. A guarenteed lottory pick and I’m sure he envisioned top 10. He was thinking Kmart=harden + a new high end player (Steven Adams is that)

    Still dumb but smart given his mandate of avoiding the luxury tax

    Harden has to be MVP. The Rockets have the best record in the league and he is the only all-star. I don't think that gets enough recognition.
