He is actually a Houstonian, not a New Yorker who lives in Florida.

I heard that he used to fart a lot and not wear socks with his Sperry's sitting courtside. Is that so bad?

Les has murals of himself at Toyota Center, he made it so nobody will forget him
besides, he took the championship trophies with him to Florida.

Sports, the ONLY time when tribalism is a virtue. Is a person better because he's from a place? I had no idea before tonight that people had poor opinions of Les. He never broke up a championship team and always spent money when he needed to. He never caught Matt Maloney disease, besides actually paying Matt Maloney for forever.

Sorry, the Texan's owner, not the quarterback who, in the pursuit of pleasure, died and sabotaged Vince Young's career.

Doubt Harden cares. There's a ton of rich people that could move from Cali to TX but they don't. Why cause even though they pay more they get to live in the hills with stunning views or on the ocean in Malibu. There is no place in Texas like that.

Bob Mcnair. Super rich, but a less good human being than Les. Am I wrong for feeling this way?

The money he saves in taxes he can afford a giant mansion in LA as well as Houston.

Bad analogy. One owner is the first owner of a new franchise, the other one was not. However people don't remember or want to know about the previous owner because Les erased Charlie Thomas and Steve Patterson from the history of the Rockets.

However, there is one thing that ties them together. Steve Patterson.
Steve Patterson was working to bring the NFL back to Houston after the Oilers left.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Patterson_(sports_executive)

Patterson had previously worked as senior vice president and chief development officer of the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL),
also as governor, president and general manager of the Houston Aeros of the International Hockey League (IHL), and as general manager and alternate governor of the Houston Rockets of the NBA.[2]

Malibu is gross and the beaches of Cali are over rated. Cali sucks. If it weren't for the gazillion dollar plastic surgery industry there, the women in Texas are naturally better looking too. I'll take a beach house out in South Padre, or even Corpus over a Malibu beach house anyday.

I'd kill to live in Rockport permanently tbh. That whole area is beautiful.

Also the beaches of Florida, Alabama, and the southern east coast > Cali.

Go for it bro. There's a reason that Malibu beach mansions are $20 million while in South Padre they are under $1 mil.

Also women in TX aren't anything but naturally fat.

Alexander, who last September sold the Rockets for $2.2 billion to Houston businessman Tilman Fertitta, confirmed this week that he remains in possession at his home in Florida of the two Larry O'Brien Trophies he accepted for the team's back-to-back NBA titles in 1993-94 and 1994-95.

"They're here in a corner at my house," he said during a brief phone conversation. "I haven't decided how to set them up yet."

The Raiders are moving to Vegas. The tax savings are gigantic .
Working in Texas , a state with no state income tax, you can afford a beautiful house in Malibu and see fat sorority girls on Padre.

QB Derek Carr Could Save $3.1 Million in Taxes if Raiders Were Already in Las Vegas
