    Whose Number should be retired? GM Steve Patterson and Father drafted Hakeem and son who created the 1994 roster. He Gave Rudy Tomjanovich head coaching job, Acquired Vernon Maxwell, Mario Elie, Carl Herrera. Drafted Robert Horry and Sam Cassell. He deserves his name retired bringing those Championships.

    I'd say none but if anyone I'd say Ralph. He hit the most iconic shot in Rockets history prior to Mario Ellie's shot. The Showtime Lakers were a phenomenal team and beating them was a heck of an accomplishment. The twin towers era was special, brief as it was.

    But I'm actually against the whole number retiring thing. Maybe I'm smarter than I realized, but I don't see this tradition ending well when 89 numbers have been retired.

    Tracy had a heckuva career but the Rockets portion alone isn't worth Jersey retirement. And this is coming from a Tmac fan.

    If I had to choose its Sampson, he actually did some winning, but nobody on that list should have their jersey hanging in Toyota Center.

    I don't think needing to win at least one playoff series before getting a jersey retired is too high a standard LOL.
