Adam Schiff went on the Mahr show this week, and when asked about what Dems would focus on first (in the event they win a majority in the mid-terms), Schiff responded: Not DACA. even Not impeachment. Instead, he claimed "automation" was what Democrats should focus on. I laughed out loud. It was very cringe-worthy, too.
Another libtard organization calls for trump and congress to protect Dreamers with no reduction in legal immigration...
People vote in their own financial self interest. Why wouldn’t they focus on an important issue that impacts many people’s jobs? There is no bigger topic right now for keynote speakers than dealing with and leveraging AI in business. Almost every conference I’ve been to the past two years had something on the topic. If you find that topic funny you probably are on an island somewhere and you obviously aren’t working in corporate America.
Adan Schiff is a tool who should do us all a favor and switch parties. He is the classic warmongering Demo who makes stupid wars and stupid support for Wall Street "bi-partisan". That is why he is always shown on the corporate media constantly.
Either trump is trying a new approach (not threatening, but suggesting something with an explained reason/benefit), or someone else wrote this tweet... Not to say I agree with him, but at least I think its a better way to approach the topic...
I found the contrast between Schiff’s tone toward Trump and his comments on the show funny. Do you sniff glue?
I think his youngest son wrote that for him. Correct punctuation and gave it a trump touch with the "USA!" at the end.
This and several of the other "bi-partisan" solutions have been crafted by open-border advocates. People like Durbin, Collins, Flake, McCain, Grahamnesty, etc, really should not be at the forefront of this effort. They are counter-productive. President Trump already put forth what should be considered his best and last offer. Four pillars that have to be addressed: Full funding for the wall, up front. End to chain migration. End to diversity lottery. Merit-based immigration priorities. In exchange, he's willing to grant amnesty and path to citizenship for 1.8 million illegals. 2.5 times the number of current DACA recipients. That's something that myself and many others in his base are extremely unhappy with. But if that's what it takes to get control of our border, so be it. The Grassley bill is not perfect, but I could live with it. (I'd like to see mandatory e-verify also but I doubt that will happen thanks to the large number of RINOs in the senate.) The problem is, Democrats and many establishment Republicans think they can use Trump's outline, weaken it, drop things altogether, add in crap, and pass it off as an actual proposal. They're complete idiots and all they're doing is wasting time. Trump ALREADY gave. You can't expect someone to make the concessions that Trump made and then negotiate it down even further. This is a sweetheart deal and Democrats and RINO's are fools for rejecting it.
I've yet to see any studies that suggest that chain migration has a negative impact on our nation. Also,of the past ten years, the average immigrant has a higher rate of obtaining a higher education and high skilled proffesion compared to a US Citizen. So the average immigrant has more credentials and merit in the past ten years than the average citizen. So no, those are deal breakers. Also replace "the wall" with actual security measures that work such as more outposts, sensors and drones survelience which by actual experts suggest is more effective than a literal wall.
