And what about the other night when we soul-crushed the Nuggets by 30? You know, the same Nuggets team that BEAT Golden State a few days before. The old adage "A W is a W" applies here directly. It's the final stretch before ASB, they just came off a long 5 game road trip, and I'm guessing they're looking forward to some R & R. It's a long season, and you can't get caught up looking at a team's intensity in February. That's how you burn out. Just be thankful that the Rockets won a game against a scrappy Dallas team that plays hard.

The alley oops and lack of paint protection was annoying.
Glad we pulled out a win. Who was CP3 looking at every time he made a play on the offensive end?

Just by only reading your post, one would think we lost by 30.

You could say the glass is 'half empty' and a scrappy Mavs team gave us a little bit of a run
OR you could say the glass is half full. Even on an 'off night' where we weren't on the top of our game
we still got the win. They gave us their best shot and we responded.
Good teams find a way to win. We are now in that category.

How about we enjoy the W?

No need 2 blitz this dude for his opinion. I agree. What I see lacking is a "killer instinct" and intensity from the Rox that some championship contenders exhibit. It's perfectly normal to critique a winning team. I don't wanna see a second round exit again this season. We must play with a chip on our shoulder and beat the **** out of teams who only have 17 wins and starters missing.

Well, if you're scared you may wanna reflect on the Warriors 30 point drubbing at
the hands of the Nuggets recently. The same team the Rox pounded into submission just a few days later.
Every team has their lapses and off nights.
    Besides didn't we WIN? We're crying over a W?

We are 2-1 against GSW this year and have an identical overall record and we're running scared?
Also, we're about to get e STRONGER this week by shopping off the sale rack
I believe our C platoon is going to be beastly. Clint, Nene and Wright
Also factor in the addition of CP, LBM and PJ and we are NOT last years' playoff team.
    We're BAD, we're nationwide.

    I say BRING IT

LOL You keep on defending your worthless boy.

I'm glad Mike finally saw the light benched his worthless ass.

Maybe we can send you & DreamShook to negotiate with teams in the summer when we gotta move him and they're asking for two firsts or a first + another significant asset. You can tell them how great Ryan Anderson is and the Rockets don't need to send any assets out with him. Ryan Anderson is the key to a championship formula.

    HAHAHAHAHAHA

Most important takeaway from this game is the Mavs have DWIGHT POWELL. Why make a HUGE financial investment in RFA Clint Capela when you have Powell already under contract that can do 70%+ of what Capela can do.

Yeah. Powell was a beast by the rim for them.

Capella doesn't move the dial much for that team.

I don't think there will be a huge market for Capela though.

If you look around the league, there are a lot of guys that have similarities to his skill set. The teams that need a Capela will be drafting higher in the lottery and have a chance at guys like Deandre Ayton....

Powell has one of the most punchable faces in the NBA, next to Donkey, of course ;)

Not that I would ever wish injury on anyone, but I have to admit taking some degree of satisfaction seeing him crying on the ground after CP3 elbowed him in the gut.

When we're healthy, this team hasn't shown a single sign of lacking intensity against contending teams. We're 26-3 (or something like that) when Paul, Harden, and Capela play. You can't have that insane a record and lack intensity. It's a LONG season, and these guys are human beings. You're not always going to play your best game, but it's how you handle it that defines a championship team.
