Yea we won’t see them till after the all star break. They will sign Monday no need to rush them either.
Let Joe take his time. He just needs to be ready to fry Curry’s ass like bacon on the switch in the WCF
Exactly. We finally have someone who is comfortable posting up on the block. Attack Curry like the Warriors work every team. Rockets can incorporate more cutters from that angle of attack. Or Joe Johnson playing PF. It’s harder for CP3 to get the pass by Durant or Draymond. Houston can run multiple screens as they often do to get the favorable matchup...feature Joe-n-the-box.
That probably deserves something that highlights it towards the top of its own section within the game forum. Let's ask the teacher Mr. @Os Trigonum ... he always knows what to do.

I had a lot of issues with the feed today and didn't see the first 5 min, but I didn't hear ANY mention of Johnson or Wright. Are they not allowed to speak abt his intention to sign with us until he clears waivers? Or did I just miss the discussion?
He hasn’t cleared waivers, so hypotheticall a team could still claim him and take on his contract. But it is highly improbable.
Wow some really great numbers to digest here. So even at that significant volume he was still getting nearly 1 ppp. On the Jazz as well, who have had injuries and offensive struggles. This bodes very well for us with our level of spacing and shooting.
Yes, JJ will have the role meant for Melo if the Rockets had obtained Melo earlier this season. JoeJ Post Up: 18.0% frequency, 0.96 ppp, 67.7 percentile. compare that to Melo (17/18) Melo Post Up: 14.7% frequency, 0.84 ppp, 43.9 percentile. Now Joe Johnson has not been so great in Iso this year; but like you said...that was with Utah. Put him with Houston and one can expect an uptick in the offensive numbers. JoeJ Iso: 14.3% frequency, 0.79 ppp, 35.7 percentile. Melo ast% this year: 7.0% JoeJ ast% this year: 9.2% Melo ast% last year: 14.5% (crazy that it was better with NY Knicks) JoeJ ast% last year: 12.8% Eric Gordon is currently at 12.2% (ast%)
