The Warriors starters have a definite edge, but it's not huge.

    Stephen Curry vs CP3
    Klay Thompson vs Harden
    Kevin Durant vs Ariza
    Draymond Green vs Ryno
    Zaza Pachulia vs Capela

    But then things get interesting...

    Andre Iguodala
    Shaun Livingston
    David West
    Nick Young
    Omri Casspi
    Kevon Looney
    Patrick McCaw
    Javale McGee
    Jordan Bell

    vs

    Eric Gordon
    Joe Johnson
    Luc Mbah a Moute
    Gerald Green
    PJ Tucker
    Nene
    Brandan Wright
    Tarik Black

If MDA handles his rotations and substitutions properly, we can take down these arrogant chumps and put a premature end to their little "dynasty."

Myers explained that there has been too much bickering with the referees and suggested it could be affecting their on-court production. His speech didn't last long, but players got the point: It was time to zip it and play ball.

"It's not a good look," Kerr said in explaining what Myers' message was. "We need to look more professional, to act more professional, and to be more poised, and to represent our team in a better light. I don't think we've been doing a good job of that lately."

Kerr, for his part, has taken responsibility, saying he has to be more in control, as well.

Probably none because I don't think we ever had a player called Carl Jones.

But most Rockets fans from the championship years remember Charles Jones quite well. He was a very old (for basketball) 12th man but Rudy used him a lot to defend centers. More than anything he was 6 good fouls and though he was a scrub he could play some defense.

Was this a test? Did I pass?

Classic example of correlation != causation here.

The warriors have always been a bunch of b****ass punks that whine when they don’t get their way. The problem is, refs are finally starting to call the atrocious moving screens and other horrendous fouls that they have gotten away with in years past.

Kerr, instead of assigning blame to his own players complaining this season, should be blaming the refs for no longer favoriting his players. The idea that curry and co. complain more now is hilarious, because they were already complaining for 48 minutes the past couple of seasons. I mean what is Green going to do, grow a new mouth?

    You passed, I failed.

I think I am now older than both Carl and Charles Jones was in the Rudy T era

Paul and Curry is slightly curry or a wash.. Harden and lay is a insult to Harden to even begin two. Obviously they have a huge edge at the 3 and 4 spots. 5 is clearly Houston. its a very close call interms of the starters but our bench blows there bench out of the water.

I think we have a better roster than them if everyone is healthy. I like the matchups. The difference this year is that we have wing defenders and a loaded bench that can put up points. I am hoping Warriors will play against Okc before the match up with us. Love to see them beating the **** out of each other..lol

Reviewing stats on nba.com (playtype) reveals much of what each team run offensively.
GSW like to use PnR to force a switch defensively and then use that mismatch in a Post Up action (in the post).
Rockets like to use PnR to force a switch defensively & then go Iso action (on the perimeter)

Both teams are very effective in each of their ways to draw extra defenders and then hit open 3’s.
Houston shoots more 3’s per game as GSW’s rely heavily on cutters and putbacks. Both teams are
    beasts in transitions.

I believe the Rockets took an advantage with the pickups of Brandon Wright and Joe Johnson. IMHO.

I could break it down and post details; but here is the site for your review.
    http://stats.nba.com/players/isolation/

Couple of areas in which Wright/JJohnson can help the Rockets:
    Isolations
    Player***********************freq*******************ppp********************NBA percentile
    Joe Johnson***************14.3%*****************0.79***********************35.7
(look for this to improve w/Houston supporting cast)

    Post Ups
    Player************************freq*******************ppp********************NBA percentile
    Joe Johnson****************18.0%*****************0.96*************************67.7
    Brandon Wright**************8.3%*****************0.80*************************34.6
Nene is 62.6 percentile; but only 5.1% frequency.
Ryan is 93.8 percentile; but only 3.4% frequency.
    Harden is 34.6 percentile; @only 2.2% frequency.

    Cuts
    Player**************************freq*******************ppp********************NBA percentile
    Brandon Wright***************25.6%****************1.23*************************42.0

    Capela*************************24.2%****************1.34*************************66.7
    Nene***************************19.0%****************1.18*************************29.2
Harden is 98.6 percentile; but only 1.1% frequency.
Luc is 80.4 percentile; but only 4.3% frequency.
Joe Johnson is a 1.20 ppp; but only 1.9% frequency.

    Transitions
    Player**************************frequency*************ppp********************NBA percentile
    Brandon Wright****************11.6%****************1.50*************************99.2
    Capela**************************11.5%****************1.26*************************81.1

Should be an excellent final 4 this year with:
West: Houston & Golden State (Houston bench being the difference)
East: Cleveland & Boston (Cavs besting a young Jaylen Brown and younger Tatum)

    Before the trade deadline I would have said 18% chance LeBron stays in Cleveland beyond this season;
After trade deadline LeBron is probably 68% staying in Cleveland beyond this season. Thanks to the reset.

New Rocket free agent target in my eyes for the Rockets this summer is Aaron Gordon. His numbers are good
in all stats from stats.nba.com in all stats pertaining to the Rockets scheme. Go Rockets.
