yeah i've actually replied to CH44 a couple times inquiring about his post, but he probably only does drive-by's here and never checks all his alerts. and like studogg, i just don't get why a 37 year old accomplished vet would choose to run with that sh!tshow instead of chasing a ring

Haven't heard anything new. He has more options as a FA and can do what he wants.

There maybe only 2 teams he would be looking at Hou and GS at this point in his career he wants a ring so that's were we can look for him to land .

JJ has leverage given he's got "certain skills" that contenders can use now and in the play-offs. He can't see who offers him the best goody bag of cash, playing time, championship potential, coaching, and teammates. We have an advantage in at least 2 or 3 of 5 of those areas. We'll see what is the most important to him soon.

For us he gives us one of the best post-up scoring forwards around and some injury protection. If he can regain his 2017 play-off form, we could be even more lethal. The Nuggets looked like a D-league team tonight compared to us--remarkable effort!

Maybe you’re right. I don’t know. I don’t think OKC is seen as dysfunctional by players as the media is making it out to be.
I don’t deny he has interest in Houston. I just don’t think he’d pass up an opportunity where he could potentially play a significant role in, especially considering the guys ahead of him in OKC are rookies and Abrines. Maybe OKC just go with Tony Allen. In Houston there is potential for him to get zero minutes if we stay healthy and rolling.

Then again, I did not see him signing with Utah in the past so I could very easily be wrong on this.

If Joe doesn’t come to Houston. Just don’t go to the Warriors. I won’t care.

i personally don't care if he comes here.

he's 36 years old and shooting 27% from 3. he's not better than anybody on the main rotation at his position so meh.

What if Chandler is bought out, or Noel? Black is a goner, one way or another. Troy is next if we need another spot because he’s on partial guarantee.

Johnson is too old now. He can no longer penetrate and doesn't even shoot from the outside consistently.

    That's why he'd be an 8th or 9th man in a rotation.
