Golden State a better fit for him than Houston. -Better chance at a ring -Same issue with playing time
Not much playing time there. They have Nick Young, Shaun Livingston, Iggy, Casspi, and McCaw coming off the bench. Where the hell does he get minutes?
Can make the same argument about here though. Ariza, Tucker, Mbah a Moute, Ryno, Gerald Green...where does he get minutes here? Truth is minutes are hard to come by on elite contenders. These guys still sign up though.
That's why I didn't say he should come here instead. But aside from picking up an easy ring(which may be incentive enough), I don't see why he'd go to the Warriors.
They often do pick the easiest ring though unfortunately. I'm hopeful though. I like Belineli too as a buyout.
Like I said. We won't be the best offer in playing time, money or ring chasing. We won't get first dibs on most guys unless they absolutely love Dan Tony.
No doubt. Joe Johnson is 36. I could understand if he said the hell with PT and just wanted a ring. Granted, he could view the Rockets as having a decent shot at one, but Golden State remains the favorite which would give them the edge in signing him.
