So now Cavs will have George Hill, Rodney Hood, Lebron in the starting lineup. Suddenly they look like a team that can win the East again and still have the Brooklyn pick.
No one should question the Cavs willingness to spend money to compete. The Cavs ownership is going to be spending an insane amount of money over the next 2-3 years in repeater taxes to do these deals. I am not a fan of the Cavs owner personally, but no one should be questioning his willingness to spend money after today.
Dan Gilbert Just called me and thanked me for my hard work this season... think I'm about to be traded and I'm not even the NBA
Their depth with Lebron and Love still coming back will be kind of scary. They did jettison at least most of their problem players for solid good role players. They got a lot better today. Hope the Rockets can get a Joe Johnson in the buyout market.
He'd be insane to leave if they make it to the Finals again. That's a really good lineup. LeBron, Love, Hill, Hood(assuming they resign him), Nance, Thompson, Clarkson. And whoever they draft with that Nets pick. I'd stay in Cleveland where the only teams I'd have to worry about are the Celtics and the Raptors(who always underachieve in the postseason).
Uh, because the Rockets aren't desperate like the Cavs. Why the hell would Morey trade away half the roster when the team is 40-13 and a half game from the best record in the entire league?
Yeah, that is why I really believe that they have received some sort of indication that LeBron doesn't intend to leave. The Cavs are adding a substantial amount in taxes.
