I don't necessarily think that's the case. We can go small at the 4 with Ariza and Mbah A Moute and give Gerald Green more minutes at the 3. We still have Tucker for the few teams that do have big guys at the 4.

EG shouldnt be traded unless its for Lebron or PG period. if you wanna trade ryno you do it by attaching a first not something more valuable. EG has one of the best contracts in the NBA

I have this weird feelings morey is going to make a splash he always surprises us. However, if we stand pat at the deadline I feel confident with this roster

His trade deadline "surprise" has pretty consistently been that he doesn't make a splash and instead acquires a scrub.

Come on now, Kevin Martin wasn't that bad. I guess you are still mad that he traded the heart of Houston that year.

You mean like Kyle Lowry, dragic, Kevin Martin, lou Williams?

    Maybe you’re just spoiled.

Eric Gordon has consistently been doing it while Green just broke onto the scene, I know he had some productive years but he was also a marginal player for years.

It's like you are firing your 3rd best employee who has been in this business for 9 years for someone who is a good worker but has been struggling to find a job. And the Playoffs are coming, eg most important time for that firm.

Green has been a nice find, but let's be honest, he is a backup for Gordon.

we essentially have the best record in the entire league with multiple wins against damn near every top team not named OKC and you want to radically change our lineup including trading away our hands down best bench player and reigning 6th man of the year?? exactly how stupid are you????

100% would do the Hill for Anderson deal. I mean on the contract dynamics alone you do it. 1 less guaranteed year with that last year only being a small guarantee. Also, Hill's contract declines.

Like @Nook, I am firmly ready to roll with Ariza/Luc/Tucker as our PFs. Speed/quickness/switchability is the name of the game today.

At least Hill gives you insurance if Gordon or Paul get nicked up which we have already seen. That is important. Hill can guard multiple positions and be a threat at the 3pt line.

I doubt this deal happens but I would be all over it.

Plus, Hill will be easier to move with his contract if needed for a LeBron transaction.

Yea but Gordon is the overrall better scorer. When those shots aren't falling in the playoffs, who do you trust to generate points? EG is a certified scorer. Hill is a system player who will manage the offense. I don't want to lose any firepower going into the postseason

EG is a good third option, but lets not assume we cant get a better third option.. Morey has made amazing plays before.. if he can flip Beverly for Cp3, he can do wonders with EG.. EG also scores in bunches is an under sized low field goal percentage shooter.. In our system where he gets primarily open looks, shooting 31% is horrid.. George hill can make up the scoring that we lose with EG and can do it much more efficiently. He is also a better passing guard and better defender, who shoots 40% career for three.

Green is not half the player EG is. Put the crack pipe down

Gordon is a solid 6th man scorer. Green is strictly a 5-10 minute guy off the bench when the team is healthy. He's playing at replacement level. Not remotely the same caliber of player.
