Yes, possibly buyout guys. Smaller trade. Go small ball PF’s down the final stretch. Ryan isn’t exactly the
most physical and swiftest of foot. Or Tucker remains with Luc MaM.

You don't need it to be exact in order for it to work. Lol

No, I think it would be a multi-team trade. Sac doesn’t necessarily get Eric Gordon and/or Tucker

Anderson contract is fully guaranteed thru the duration....and rises.
    $19.6 mil, $20.4 mil, $21.2
Hill: $20 mil, $19 mil, $18 non guaranteed

The thing that is most interesting about this that I have found is Hills contract.

On the surface, this just doesn’t make much sense.

But I decided to check Hills contract and it’s a declining contract.

    20m this year
    19m next year
    18m the following year

Here’s the key, only 1m is guarenteed in that final year making it pretty much an expiring deal next year.

So while earlier I scoffed this off as BS and stupid, I decided morey is smarter than me and always has a plan and reason. So I looked into it.

Doesn’t make sense from a team holding aspect really, but from a flexibility standpoint it does.

yes, and we see that Hill is desired by many teams right now. It’s not because of his stats.

But everyone knows he is better than this season’s stats. Just needs a better supporting cast.

Very tradable this summer. Unfortunately the Rockets may need to crack an egg to make an omelette.
Eric Gordon?? Green has shown to be serviceable.

Hill trade loses our 4th best player and does nothing to improve us THIS season. Not willing to sacrifice THIS season for the hope LeBron.

This season is special and could be even more special.

    It makes perfect sense.

Ariza and Moute are better options at PF than Anderson.

Adding Hill allows Harden to slide over to SF in more situations.

The Rockets shouldn’t make a lot of changes; but I am confident the Rockets are better with Hill than with Anderson and I don’t have a grudge against Anderson.

Anderson isn’t the Rockets fourth best player. He is their 3rd best PF. Also trading for Hill wouldn’t mean Eric Gordon is traded. Hill and Gordon are very different players.

    Ok

Just maybe we are not seeing the players being acquired and sent out, yet.

Morey needs a fallback option if he has to include Eric Gordon in a trade. Hill comes with a price; but is
easily moved this summer. Big $19 mil clearing the books. BigMaloe sees the logic. It’s just options my man.

Lmfao at the first few pages of this thread.

Hill is a bad contract. He isn’t a world beater. He isn’t worth anything but a swap for Anderson and maybe a 2nd rounder. That’s it.

You want a game changer, Evans>>Hill

    Hill is Morey's misdirection.

    Welcome Lebron, warmly welcome!

Very unlikely Eric Gordon is dealt if Hill comes here. Morey doesn’t want to change two key pieces on a team on pace to win 62-63 games. You can move Anderson because he isn’t working out. Move Gordon and Anderson? I can’t see that happening.

Please make it happen! A starting lineup with Paul, Hill, Harden, Luc and Capela would be lethal!

If Sac were willing to take Anderson we could catalyze the Hill to Cleveland trade. We take back Frye, Crowder, Rose and Calderon or Frye, Thomas, Rose and Calderon. Alternatively Frye, Carter, Rose and Calderon to us, Anderson and Crowder to Sacramento, Hill to Cleveland.

Buyout Rose and Calderon. Frye takes Anderson's minutes. Crowder can be flipped or utilized. Thomas might have more value than I give him, I think he's trash, but in our system he could actually thrive. I just can't get over his height.

    Cleveland gets their point guard.
Sacramento gets a first from is and their choice of non rotational stuff from us plus a nice young wing player to pair with Hield (Thomas or Crowder) and Anderson.
We get two buyout targets, a veteran wing player and a veteran big, all expiring $$.

But Ryno's contract is just as bad as Hill's, if not worse. So if Sac is willing to take Ryno then why not pull the trigger? Plus I think Evans is not a good fit for our team. He needs the ball in his hands a lot and is not a good spot up shooter.

And Jameer Nelson is on the trading block. If I were Morey I would trade Onuaku straight up for him.
